Happy to finally see Anigwe getting minutes. She looks good out there today.

Sky look really solid in this game. Quite a turnaround from their last game.

Sun are getting smoked by Chicago, like it's Opposite Day!

Sky went on an 11-0 run there. Pretty sure both Dolson and Vandersloot were sitting for all of that (replaced by Parker and Williams).

Connecticut has a weak bench. It could come back to bite them at the end of the season.

Sloot with the buzzer beater!!!

Sky looking like a title contender in this game. Sun looking way off. The Sky need to keep this up in the 2nd half and not let this 21 point lead get to them.

8 players have been in for Chicago. The worst shooting percentage among them is 50%.

On the other side, JJones picks up two fouls in 14 min. Anigwe two fouls in 5 min.

Cheyenne Parker is fun to watch in the post. She can score from moves/craftiness despite being shorter than most of the other centers.

Miller must have given up on this game already with over 5 min left. Can’t spot a starter anywhere.

I am amazed that the Sky defeated the Sun. I was pleasantly surprised by Parker's game against the Sun. She has played great this season and deserves more playing time so that she can show the world what she can do. Very Happy

D.D. should stop trying to be a playmaker. The reason why because she turns the ball over 98% of the time when she tries to pass the ball.

How many people are actually at Sky games? The box said 5,000 ...

I have been wrong many times, but I did say a couple years ago that I thought Cheyenne Parker could be a solid player in the league, and it sure looks that way. It's also good to see that Anigwe appears to have moved ahead of Brionna Jones in the post rotation.

And is it time for Bria Holmes to replace Shekinna Stricklen in the starting lineup?

Why does it matter at this point? Laughing

It’s the same thing in the Dream game threads, people discuss the attendance more than the actual game. Laughing

Some teams draw well and some teams don’t, it is what it is.

Not a Sun fan, obviously, but Stricklen is averaging a career high in points(albeit it’s only .7 more than her previous career high) while shooting 42% from three on a 9-2 team. I think she’s fine in the starting line up for right now, her ability to space the floor, whether it’s consistent or inconsistent, is valuable playing with A. Thomas.

And a little unrelated, but I’ve been impressed with Dolson this season. Actually playing solid defense(making things uncomfortable for post players and not letting them get to their usual spots) and being aggressive offensively in the first half of games. She got killed by McCowan the other night due to her height and aggressiveness but she’s been pretty solid on that end.

Zune, remove that trade Dolson thread. Laughing

Seems to be more for defensive purposes. She can cause problems as a perimeter defender with her length and quickness. On the offensive side, I haven’t noticed very much play making. She says she “doesn’t feel comfortable” doing it, but I’ve always thought she’d be an interesting PG project. But who has time for projects in the WNBA? Can she find an overseas club that will develop her as a PG? Probably not.

If the Sky can beat the Sorcerers on Wednesday I will have to change my signature line to something else. Because if they keep playing good basketball then they definitely won't be in the lottery. I don't think the Sky want to suck for Cox. Laughing
