Having both Beard and TRP on the floor may not leave them with enough offense

That's what the bench is for....Coach Fisher will have the option of playing the big lineup if needed.

It's almost like LA should have hired a coach who knew what they were doing ...

Is Derek Fisher's job safe? He's an awful coach.

The same thing happened last season. The team minus their bigs had good chemistry until Parker returned and then it went to hell for a while. Now this year you add not only Parker but Chiney as well. Who would be surprised at this outcome? Fisher was also too chummy with Parker which was one reason he was hired. They are shooting like crap and their defense is awful. Dallas might regret not getting La top draft pick next year. They could have had Vadeeva as well.

Gooooood grief! There are so many things to say but I'll leave it at
I really need LA to get it together!

I'd been hoping Jewel would find some consistency, just not against LA

Confused Laughing Great game for her and Howard. Nice to see Dan back!

Anyone know if Alexis is injured?

I have to say I'm impressed by the Storm fans showing up in Everett. Was really expecting small crowds there and the fans have proven me wrong. Storm now play 8 out their next 10 games at Alaska Airlines. A nice home stretch for them.

Acquiring Chiney after trading away Sims was just asinine...Moving Lavender without getting back a wing only compounded the situation. If LA has any plans on winning another championship during the C.Parker era they better acquire a wing who can give them a consistent 10-15 ppg or shoot the basketball. Toler should call Atlanta and make them an offer for Hayes,Sykes or Bentley.

Penny Toler seems more concerned with winning trades and stockpiling talent than winning championships.

Parker doesn't appear to be 100%. Maybe she should have waited another week.

L.A. got pounded on the boards ... how can that happen? How can Alysha Clark get 10 rebounds and L.A.'s leader has six?

From the outside, it sure looks like Derek Fisher is in over his head here -- though more likely it's just he thought this would be easy. He'd wave his NBA wand, outcoach these folks who settled for coaching women and roll to a title.

Fisher needs to get to work, and the Sparks need to find out if he can handle this job. So far, he can't ...

AGREE 100%. The first game CP3 returned was on Fisher, like a hint something was wrong. The second game going exactly like CP3's first game back is an indictment. He has exactly ZERO clue how to manage team chemistry!!!!!!!!!

To go from Nneka, Chiney and Chelsea looking like the best trio in the WNBA to all 3 of them looking incompetent takes a special kind of coaching idiocy. Hello? Did this team not even practice with Candace before playing these two games? Because that's what it looks like. Some of this falls on Candace - but ALL of it falls on Fisher.

Alysha Clark has done plenty to prove that she's a pretty good rebounder, but yes, LA's positioning and effort on the boards were lacking.

Also rebounding has a lot to do with effort and going after it. That pretty much describes Clark. Havent seen the game yet. Was she also defending Gray?
