I think Golden State will win, but I will be rooting for Toronto.

I will be rooting for the Warriors and for a four-game sweep, all by blowout margins, just to keep Drake in his seat each and every game all series long.

One thing about this series that's markedly different from the WNBA, the Raptors have no lottery picks on their roster. Kawhi Leonard, who went #15 in 2011, is the only one that went in the top 20 of their draft.

I'm the opposite; I'm rooting for the Warriors, but I have a hunch Toronto will win the series. Not only do the Raptors have home-court advantage in the series, but they beat the Warriors twice in the regular season.

I've always been a fan of the Warriors, but years ago, I was actually rooting against the Warriors so that it would increase the chances of Kevin Durant signing with GSW, which worked out pretty well Razz Twisted Evil

Now, I'm not sure if I should root for, or against GSW... Maybe root for them to go down 0-2, then Durant comes back as the savior for Game 3 at home, then GSW wins 4 out of 5, Durant stays? Question Idea

I used to love the Warriors. Kinda cooled on them a little bit when Durant joined because I find it hard to get too excited about a superteam winning games, but if it's a Steph Curry team vs a Drake-endorsed team that's a no-brainer for me.
Hoping for a threepeat but mostly for a close series, so yesterday was a good start.

Warriors came from behind last night in the 4th quarter to take game 2. Hoping the Raptors can take one game at Oracle Arena and making it a 2-2 series heading into game 5.

The Raptors absolutely blew a golden opportunity yesterday.
Great effort for the undermanned Warriors to get in front, but they got shut down through most of the 4th quarter and Toronto just didn't seem to want to make the most of it. It was not pretty and those last 5 minutes might have cost them the title.

Raptors take Game 4 and win both games in Golden State and return home to possibly win their first championship. Raptors really have the edge in this series, though Golden State can come back, the energy in Toronto for Game 5 will be insane!

Warriors take game 5, 106-105. Durant injured his Achilles in the game and is out for the remainder of the series.

...and is likely out for 2019-20.

Given he has a player option, I would not be surprised if he opts in and chooses unrestricted free agency next year, while focusing on his recovery for 2019-20.

I have to say, shame on the Raptors fans for cheering when Durant went down. Didn't think their fans were like that.

...and when they realized it was serious, they started chanting, "KD, KD!" in support.

In the arena they don't have the camera lingering on Durant. They're hyped about the steal, then they look back and see Durant and quiet down.

I watched that game that the Raptors should have won and gotten their ship. However, I blame their coach for calling that time out. The Raptors were hot. I don't usually watch the mens game so I don't remember all their names. I believe it was Lenord who hit 2 3pointers and another guy hit a 2 pt then the coach calls a time out. I was sitting here yelling "WHY DID YOU CALL A TIME OUT". It broke their rhythem and they lost by 1, just 1 fricking point and they should have won. Hope they can pull it out back in Cali!!!

Your opponent being without 2 of their 3 best players isn't the most glorious of ways to win a series, but somehow I doubt it will dampen their celebrations too much.
Congrats to the Raptors!

P.S. Shame on you, Trump!! It was on your watch that the title was lost to another country for the only time ever.

Toronto has to win the NBA Title because it's funny that Canada can win in everything except the Stanley Cup (no Canadian team has made Stanley Cup Finals since 1993).
