Hopefully, your 100% prediction doesn't come true. Best the Liberty have looked all season. Aces are off today, too. Solid D on Wilson & Cambage.

My god I hope so.

14 assists 5 turnovers. 4 assists for Wright. 3 each for Tina, Hartley and Boyd. I’d say the ball movement was at its best with Wright in the game though there were mostly second unit players in for Vegas at the time.

Was that Wilson with that weak sauce pass? Why is she playing the point?

There's something wrong with Wilson today. She seems sick or something.

Wilson is definitely out of it today. Bonus for New York! 2:44 to go and up by 10, hopefully we don't blow it!

I actually couldn’t even remember what this felt like. Let’s give Wright props among others as she was instrumental in this win.

Aces bench is mostly useless. When starters are off, looking at Aja here, the team sucks big-time.

Katie Smith's job is saved!

Zahui, Bec Allen, and Wright's jobs are all saved!

I credit Zahui B's strong D on Cambage, Charles shutting down Wilson, and overall the strong defensive game by our team. It helped that, for once, we didn't start off slow. Gotta have a strong start and hold down our D all game. Let's do it again on Wednesday(minus Hartley & Zahui B though). SHould be interesting to see the rotations Smith uses.

Uh, Wilson shut herself down. You know that previous worst game of her career a few games back? This one tops it.

Little bit of both. Tina is a very underrated man defender.

Boyd also made a 3 and a long 2. At this point she’s a decent enough foul shooter that it’s better percentages for her to shoot some open ones then it is to drive into multiple defenders. Doing so would dramatically reduce her turnovers.

Zahui’s D is very much improved. The only times she has really not held her own were in space matchups against the quicker Latoya Sanders and at times against McCowan. I’m very pleased to see both her performance and the recognition she is getting for it. 5 blocked shots against this team is an achievement.

Game ball for NYL_WNBA_FAN. We all owe you, as does Katie Smith.

I'm glad Tanisha Wright had a good game. Some people here were writing her off, like it was a certainty that she was done. That was based on a VERY small sample of minutes in the first four games. One good day doesn't prove anything, but I'm really hoping she can contribute to the team ON the court as well as through her leadership and counsel off the court.

It’s pretty clear Bill is down on Plum. Jackie Young brought the ball up today quite a bit and Plum had trouble getting minutes even when Colson went down.

Boyd and maybe a second for Plum? I’m not joking around. Boyd fits Bill’s framework.

If you really think that then there's some money to be made as consolation

I'm not a betting man, but I'm sort of on the same page as NYL_WNBA_FAN. I can't see the Liberty winning today, and if I did regularly place bets, this might be one of those times where I risk a few hundred bucks to just make a single hundred by betting on the favorite to win and giving the odds.

Ha! NYSports56 the basketball expert strikes again! Good thing I'm not a betting man; I would have lost something like 200-400 bucks on this one. But I go into each game thinking maybe this could be the one where we pull it together (hoping, not expecting). This one I shared NYL_WNBA_FAN's view of certain doom and gloom.

I couldn't envision a scenario where we held both Cambage and Wilson in check. And it started out just like my vision on Las Vegas's first possession, when Cambage backed down Zauhi B like she wasn't even there. Things certainly turned around.

I think Tanisha Wright totally saved the game in the 3rd quarter. People here have been saying she is useless. I myself was in silent agreement. But when things were going wrong and looking like every other halftime lead we've blown during the losing streak, Katie put Tanisha in and she did it all, and provided veteran leadership by example.

What was wrong with A'ja Wilson? Something physically wrong, growing pains playing with Cambage, or simply just an off game?
