I think we've established two of the lottery teams for 2020.

I know it's just preseason but I'm not liking the Chicago Sky's starting lineup (Gabby,KLS,Dolson,Quigley,Sloot)

No rebounding.
No defense.
Nobody who can really create off the dribble.

Parker should be starting...And where's Diamond?

7:58 Asia Taylor enters the game for Paris Kea 11 - 25
7:58 Cheyenne Parker personal foul 11 - 25
8:16 Courtney Vandersloot lost ball turnover (Paris Kea steals) 11 - 25
8:26 Paris Kea makes two point shot 11 - 25
8:31 Allie Quigley bad pass (Paris Kea steals) 11 - 23
8:44 Tiffany Mitchell makes 18-foot pullup jump shot

so she gets two steals in a row...then gets pulled out of the game. ok, Pokey?!

McCowan discovering that they won't let her run over players...or that players in the W are better at flopping.

People actually thought Pondexter was hindering her development. Laughing

Is that something you disagree with?

Yes, I never thought the two had any correlation.

Mitchell is just a below average shooter, doesn’t matter if she plays 10 minutes or 30, IMO.

Chicago wants to win the lottery. They need to lose to maximize those lottery balls. Smile

I'm assuming you want Lauren Cox? The Sky would be one of two teams to take Cox over Ionescu.

That should be should. Chicago doesn’t seem to have an aversion to logjamming even with a new GM.

This game was available to stream for everyone living within 75 miles of Indy. I watched a little of it and the stream was fine. Which leads me to ask again...why can’t we see more preseason games? Frustrating.

Quote:
The Fever held the Sky to six points on 3-of-17 shooting in the first quarter. All-Star center Stephanie Dolson played just two minutes before picking up two fouls while battling for position with 6-7 Fever rookie center Teaira McCowan down low. Dolson struggled with McCowan's strength, going scoreless with one rebound and four fouls.

McCowan's length inside helped the Fever win the rebounding battle 40-30, the points in the paint margin 28-24, and she provided a thunderous block, bringing her teammates to their feet in the second half. The No. 3 overall pick finished with six points and seven rebounds.

Sounds like McCowan is making a big difference right away. Who’d thunk?

Dolson has always struggled against stronger centers. I wonder if she showed up out of shape again?

I agree. DeShields, Faulkner, Parker, Delle Donne, Prince, Dupree, Vandersloot, and Fowles were all garbage draft picks. CAN’T PICK WORFA DAMN! Mad

Katie Lou Samuelson looks quite tall and long for a 3. Lean for a 4. Chloe Jackson looked good in the highlights.
