Yeah, so now you add Harrison and Imani added to Plaisance, George, Gustafson, GloJo, Stevens, and Thornton. I guess if you call Stevens and Thornton both SFs, you can have that many posts. Or is somebody else going to go? Gustafson?

A fair point. So's Plaisance, if it wasn't for that ludicrous contract.

IMS is 5 years younger, 3 inches taller, better at rebounding.

I figured they needed to thin out the herd, and I’m sure Davis would love to go to ATL and she’s not a bad fit either.

I wonder how Skylar Diggins-Smith feel about this? shit she's a Superstar in her own right

she gotta be not happy seeing one of the best players in the W traded.

will she ask for a trade in the future like Liz did? who knows. just wanted to bring that up

Yeah, that 29% career three-point percentage really puts the fear of god into opponents.

There’s been signs they want to move Diggins off the ball, so she’d still start. They’d have Ogunbowale and Gray as backups. What’s so terrible about that?

In a span of a few hours, Dallas went from having a vacancy in the middle (and the possibility of having to play Glory Johnson and Azura Stevens together in the frontcourt, given the lack of quality players to start at center), to having Isabelle Harrison and Imani McGee-Stafford on the roster.

It's better, but I'd hesitate to say it's good

Sour grapes, just like with Dantas? Razz

Nobody will believe me, but I recently tweeted the idea of IMS to Agler and Bibb about a week ago. Might have supply the receipts, but maybe I’ll wait to see how it works out. Razz

I'm annoyed that the Dream turned a lottery pick into a third rounder. IMS is just scrubbery.

Diamond DeShields for a 3rd round pick may be as bad as any trade I've complained about. Smile

Amber Stocks may have been fired for pulling off that trade and not making it work out immediately. Wade is obviously doing a much better job of constructing a roster. [/sar]

so

Jefferson/(Diggins-Smith)
Gray/Ogunbowale/Hill
Stevens/Thorton
Johnson/Gustafson
Harrison/Plaisance/IMS

so Davis, Burke and Geoarge get cut if they keep all their new toys (unless they trade or swallow Hill's contract) and Diggins-Smith counts against the roster (still not sure she does again not sure if she doesn't play is there a maternity stipulation that allows her to get paid and not count against the cap and/or roster?).

Did they convince Jefferson to play? My guess is yes by letting her know she will have a bigger role. She is technically a RFA next season and needs to prove herself to be in max consideration if she decides to continue in the W. Or maybe she is still sitting out which is why Vegas needed to throw in the 2nd round pick? or maybe she will join the team late if injury and fatigue were a real issue.

Switch Harrison and Gustafson position-wise.

I would still hang on to Davis. I think she has potential (or at least some trade value down the road...). Plaisance goes, IMO, and Stevens moves to the post.
