That is understood, but they also used Gulish as a 4 on the floor with Griner. Towards the end of the season, they had multiple injuries at the 4 and they didn't play Gulish much at the four at all. In my opinion, she played better than the reserve they had playing. They didn't even play her as a substitute 5. I realize she was a rookie, but from what I saw the coach just didn't like her and it was not based much on what transpired on the court. Gulish was a good rebounder- better than Griner. She also hustled and played good defense. The coach would seem wait till she missed a shot and then pull her out. Almost like she was looking for an excuse to do so.

A training camp player who is the shortest on the team led the team in rebounding?
