Syracuse has a really, really good shot at winning the ACC. That's crazy to me.

Not bad. I probably put A&M at #8. Have to see what shakes out with Tennessee. If they get a good coach and with the recruiting class coming in (if they keep Horston), they might be somebody to keep an eye out for anyway.

As a UConn fan, that is very generous for next year's team. The Huskies will be a wild care..will they be the 2016-17 team that takes everyone by surprise or will they be the 2004-05 team that has some good pieces returning, but can't find a rhythm?

I'd throw NC State in there higher than any other ACC team. They lose Leslie but with the talent coming back (and back from injury) plus Wes, I look for them to be better than this last years team.

Wes Moore has proven that even with lesser (on paper) talent, he can "coach up" his players. He also demonstrated the Bruce Arians. "next (wo)man up" principle, by overcoming injuries to make his second consecutive Sweet 16 appearance.

I'm thinking UConn won't drop that low simply because the top teams are all losing key pieces, especially Notre Dame. But they will be a very thin roster. I imagine Geno may want to look for a grad transfer.

Here are my thoughts with I think several teams possible in the 8,9,10 area.
I'm thinking Louisville has enough players back to make it interesting and somehow Vic Schafer always finds a way to be competitive. Needless to say, I think Oregon and Baylor are way ahead of everyone else.

No ACL or even surgery needed for Lauren Cox. MCL sprain/bone bruise

Good news for Cox.

Seems to be shaping up to be a Oregon vs Baylor battle with the ND and UConn Final 4 slot strangle holds in real jeopardy.

With Portland and Dallas hosting, you can pencil in Oregon and Baylor. South Carolina is another host. Indiana too but may not matter for ND next year?

Teams may be begging for the Las Vegas regional after next year.
