But after a police investigation cleared girls basketball coach Nicholas Carothers of any criminal wrongdoing, his chapter with the program ended in his resignation.

Troy Terrill, whose daughter was coached by Carothers, told News 8 what he'd read in the police report that brought to light a different problem: accusations that he used offensive language around his team.

"We learned a little bit more information about some of the things that were being said, the vulgarity of some terms that (were) used, referencing girls' body parts, things that adults shouldn't even say," said Terrill.

The lack of details regarding language used seems to leave a lot to one's own imagination. This is were you really do need to know what was said.

Telling someone to get their ass in gear is a far cry from saying get that sweet fine ass in gear. See the difference?

Specifics are necessary in this day and age.

I think when you throw 'vulgar' into the equation, ass isn't the body part they are talking about. So no need to go into salacious details.

In the same vein, "You were fucking terrible" is very different than "This game was fucking terrible." Yes, the use of the word "fucking" may go against Code of Conduct policies at schools, but one is directed at a specific person and the other is directed at the game (and the result).
