Iowa with a 12 pt lead early in the 2nd.
Iowa is a better defensive team than most people realize, even myself.

It appears to be the only way she can defend someone

I haven't watched Iowa that much but I love Doyle. She reminds me of a bigger version of Debbie Black.
As for Gustafson, I'm not sure if she can't defend, or if she won't defend because they can't afford for her to get into foul trouble.
And every time I've seen Cunane she's impressed me. She should have a great career ahead of her.

+1. All of it.
It's a good thing for Iowa that NC State can't convert on all the O-boards they're getting. Because it's bad for Iowa.

Cunane physically reminds me of a quicker Van Gorp. Only a frosh, she has some upside.

NC State is going to miss Leslie. I know they have a lot of contributors sidelined that will help out next year but I don't think anyone brings what she brings.

Hmmm. I dunno....she held Cunane to 'bout half the points she herself had. I'd say that she certainly got the best of the Center matchup, by far. Also, remember Megan is *listed* at 6'3" (I'd say 6'2") but she's consistently matched up against much taller players. She does pretty darn well for an undersized 5.
Hannah Steward had a remarkable game for Iowa, too....often the unsung hero for some of Iowa's successes.
NC-State took a lotta flak for having the longest 'undefeated' streak of the season (too easy a slate, etc.), and I really wasn't sure how to take them, not having seen them much, but....they earned their spot here, and certainly did Kay proud! I have a feeling they'll have a much better tournament season than next year's Iowa will have. "Our day will come...")
