Halftime Ohio 33, Northwestern 31. It was a pleasure to hear the Northwestern announcer say "I think the Wildcats need to match the Bobcats physicality" and (into an open mike during a timeout) "They're fouling us on every play and it's not getting called".

Final Northwestern 61, Ohio 58. Northwestern completes its third straight come from behind win in the WNIT, making up an 8-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

Dang, Northwestern is in our bracket. Hey Joe, would you please root for JMU tomorrow? The game with Georgetown is at 2 pm. Thx. Smile

JMU holds on to beat Georgetown, 54-44, in a messy, sloppy game. It looked to me like JMU left a lot on the floor Wednesday night in the game with Va Tech. But hey, a win is a win. I think, as Pat Summit used to say, the Dukes "wore" on the Hoyas, because those Georgetown girls looked exhausted after the third quarter and were missing shots they had previously made.

Bring on Northwestern!

congrats to your JMU team! And doesn't this feel better than an NCAA loss in the first round?

TCU beat Cincinnati earlier today 69-55. The Frogs look like they will be playing the Wildcats in the semis as Arizona is up 51-31 on Wyoming in the 4th.

Oh heck yeah.....but try convincing some of the idiots on the JMU board who are just all out of sorts because Coach O hasn't managed to get the girls in the NCAAT even once in 3 whole seasons! Rolling Eyes Just so they can go home after one overmatched game.

Looks like Adia Barnes' team is packing them in at Arizona. Attendance vs. Wyoming was 7717. TCU drew 2436 against Cincinnati; JMU 2074 vs. Georgetown, and Northwestern 1031 vs. Ohio.

I realized last night that JMU is the *only* non-P5 team left in this thing. I think that's pretty remarkable in itself.
