This is the Transfer-From School of the Year Award -- the school whose transferred-out players are having the most success and impact this season at their new schools.

UConn is surely a candidate. Andra Espinoza-Hunter and Courtney Ekmark are each starting on on Sweet Sixteen schools, Mississippi State and Arizona State, and each is leading their respective schools in 3pt shots made.

Other candidate schools may be Tennessee, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Maryland, but I can't recall all the schools or player names.

That would be my winner. Only one player, but enough to win an NC.

AEH is a starter only through an injury to the starter.
Boley transferred from ND to Oregon.
Aari McDonald transferred from Washington to Arizona.
Dillard was originally with UMass.

I need clarification. Shouldn't candidates for this award only go towards players on their first year playing with their new team (then Nebraska would've only been eligible last year) or not?

Glenn, who posed the question, cited Ekmark, who is in her second season of playing at ASU. Thus I think we can count any woman who transferred rather than limit ourselves to women who are in their first year at their new school.

Probably LSU, if Chloe Jackson and teammates run the table.

Since transfers are now so common and may be increasing, perhaps we should also have a Transfer-to School of the Year (TTSOY) Award for the team that has been most benefited by transfers, in addition to a All-Transfer Team for the best transfer players in the country.
