The B12 is the only multi-bid conference without a win |
Is the Pac-12 and Big 10 the only undefeated conferences so far? |
The WCC is undefeated. The B10 is not.
There are also four one bid conferences playing tonight, all of which are currently trailing

How does the men's tournament compare to the women's as far as fans are concerned. Perhaps the ESPN Tournament Challenge puts it in perspective. Same rules for both (25 entries allowed per person). Men's entries, approximately 17,000,000. Women's entries, approximately 75,000, or about 0.2%. Pitiful, but a much better value considering the prize is $10,000 for the men (less than $0.01 per entry) and $5,000 for the women ($0.20 per entry) |
Of course the men's Tournament challenge had a substantially longer entry window and was promoted much more heavily |
I agree, but I believe this is the worst disparity there has ever been. Last season the number of men's entries was roughly the same but there were over 400,000 women's entries. |
A funny thing happened sometime in the past few days, and I have no reason why. After showing total entries of roughly 75,000 (based on the rankings and percentile rank shown) for most of the tournament, all of a sudden today I checked and saw that the number is around 500,000. I am not sure how this error was found or how everything got recalculated, but it is either a correction that shows women's basketball entrants didn't fall off a cliff this year or a very suspicious recalculation by ESPN. I prefer to think the former.
