Zags win with a shot at the buzzer by Rice, who was the leading scorer. Great game, and bubble teams like the outcome

I think Charlie currently only has the winner in, whether it's BYU or the Zags.

Both Gonzaga and BYU are in (even if BYU loses to Pepperdine, they probably are still a "Last Team In" at worst). A final between those two teams would be most ideal for bubble teams so the WCC doesn't end up with 3 teams in the NCAA Tournament.

Creme has had both teams in but has never listed the WCC in the conference's with multiple bids. But while the Zags are in BYU may be out with a loss to Pepperdine. They have several bad losses and only the wins over Gonzaga and TCU. Beat Pepperdine and they are in , lose and I'm not so sure.

Pepperdine 52 BYU 50 after 3 quarters.

Another great game in the WCC.

BYU 62-61 with 4:58 to go in the game

BYU was down 10, I believe in the 3rd.

Did Stockton come back in the game? I just saw a highlight of her being helped off.

Luckily saw a few highlights on the AAC studio postgame. The winning shot wasn't a gimme by any stretch.

I've heard various things about Jill Townsend....its her kneecap...its a broken bone.....

doubt neither her nor Laura Stockton will be available.....

today's game and the atmosphere were something else.....

crowd brought it.....

there is nothing like Zag basketball......nothing at all....win or loose, we adore our teams.....

final on FS1 now. So far a fun game. Lots of up and down.

BYU 4-5 from three ...helps them a wee bit to have a four point lead midway thru the first.

Hello zags, you might consider guarding that girl.

Zags lead at the end of one thanks to a couple of old fashioned three point plays by Rice. Get a keep out of the fans in the stands wearing blue wigs.

Interesting stat. Both teams have put the ball in the basket 18 times. BYU has 9 threes, 6 FGs and 3 FTs. Zags have 1 three,10 FGs and 7 FTs

I wonder how many times a team has shot 9-15 from 3 in the first half and is not ahead by double digits at halftime.

Would I be correct in assuming that Sarah Hamson in today's game for BYU is the younger sister of Jennifer Hamson of a few years ago?

Or just a coincidence?

correct assumption. But she's not nearly as good.
I'm thinking Rice could find a job playing overseas. She's too small for the W with her skill set.

The Zags are failing me in the champion's game. Crying or Very sad I thought the third time against the same team with a decent coach could bring a different result. But losing two starters the day before was obviously a big setback. Still they have played hard and, other than letting BYU make a bazillion threes, have been competitive.

Convincing win for BYU 82-68

Gonzaga should be no better than an 8 seed and if it weren’t for their win over Stanford would have to be a bubble team BYU should be an 8 or 9 seed despite their several bad losses
