@BrendaVanLengen & @RonThulin questioned 2 early calls against Texas. Longtime TVers said so little about the technical foul call that I think they doubted it, too. Olamide Aborowa did no verbal taunting, no hostile gesturing. Not fair to OA, fine young woman from Nigeria.

It was a weak tech, but officials can be sensitive to anything they interpret as a stare-down. ISU's Ines Nezerwa got a similar tech on 2/9 vs WVU after an and-1 opportunity -- looked at the fouler for 1-2 sec without saying or doing anything else.

I've noticed big TMc getting away with a lot of stare down. Don't know if they ever give her a T for it or not, but not in the games I've seen.

Hell, one of her Stare Downs made a tourney promotional clip! Razz

'k folks.....time for Baylor to demonstrate that they're the overall #1. (Real) Cyclones have been hitting all over the country....can Bill's momentum continue?

I predict Baylor by 10 or more. Shocked

Did you see the tweet where Dawn called out the NCAA about the stare down on Cooper, they took it down and Dawn was right she should have been given a T.

I love Didi Richards. I think it's her cute hairdo, but also her defensive prowess. But she does need to work on her offense to become a complete player.

I haven't seen a lot of Baylor's games, but every time I see them, am impressed with their Freshman Smith.

since I think they're actually the weakest #1, I would hope it means they would move down a couple of spots and therefore play one of the stronger #2's instead of the last one. Send 'em out to Oregon!

I agree Myrtle, but Smith has fallen off. However, i don't think the committee wants to drop them.

What a game this one is. Much more exciting than the ACC Title game. I wish this one would have been on earlier as now I have to switch between this game and The Good Doctor! Maybe I'll catch it at 3am.

How is it you can't record one and watch the other later?

Brenda's dreaming about more B12 teams in the tourney.

Also, sometimes she fires the ball at the rim it has no chance of going in, other times she shows good touch.

yeah, some more arc on her shot would help her out...and maybe some less whining.

I think Burkhall is probably 6'2 and Kalani is probably 6'5 1/2 I think we looked at a USA basketball photo that pretty clearly showed she wasn't as tall as advertised....but one of the things I like about her game is that she's money from 16-18' . That's a big positive.

this game getting away from ISU. I think they were just happy to stay in the ballpark with Baylor.
