Pick the winners of the 32 conference championships. The rules are simple; just pick the winners of each of the 32 conference tournaments. Scoring for the game - for each correct selection you get whatever a team is seeded in the tournament plus 1 point. For example, the West Coast Conference will have the following seeds
Seed Team...… Score
1..... Gonzaga 2(1+1)
2..... BYU...…. 3(2+1)
3..... Pepperdine4(3+1)
4..... St Mary's 5(4+1)
5..... Pacific.... 6(5+1)
6..... Loyola M. 7(6+1)
7..... Santa Clara8(7+1)
8..... Portland. 9(8+1)
9..... USF or SD 10(9_1)*
10... SD or USF 11(10+1)*
*I believe USF will be the #9 seed, but it has not been completely decided as of now.
Selections can be made all at once or piecemeal, as long as individual selections are made before each tournament starts.

I guess I'm not understanding the scoring. Is it most points wins? Least points wins? Most correct picks?

A correct selection is naming the team that wins the tournament. If you pick Gonzaga you would get 2 points for the WCC if they win the tournament. But if you believe Loyola Marymount could win you would get 7 points if they do. You get more points if you pick lower seeds, so you are incentivized to pick underdogs. The overall winner is the one that gets the most points.

So if someone correctly picks a couple of big upsets, they could have more points than someone who has more correct picks?

Yes. If there wasn't a higher value given to upset picks everyone would tend to just pick the favorites. This way there is an incentive to picking some upsets, and if you go out on a limb and pick a low seed that wins you get a significant reward.

definitely an interesting choice. They're not the best P12 team, but when you play three games in a row, Charlie does regularly play the most players so maybe you could say their depth will prevail.

Pac 12: There's too many intangibles. Stanford could lose to Cal, but then appears to be strong against Gnomeo and his team, but weak if Oregon makes it back. Then again, would Oregon State really shoot that badly again? Someone send help, a sign, please, from the gods. I'll make this pick....eventually.

ASU will actually have to play 4 games in 4 days because they finished 6th (only the top 4 get byes). But since you can get 7 points vs 2 for Oregon I don't think it is a bad choice. Indeed I am struggling with whether I should pick my Bears in the Pac 12.

Interesting thing about the ACC Tournament. Much like the 2012 BET with ND and UConn getting revenge games against teams that they lost to in the regular season (WVU and SJU, respectively), if the higher seeds hold, ND would have games against UNC and Miami.

The Atlantic-10 Tournament has already started, so I would presume no more picks can be made for it. The Minutewomen have outlasted the Patriots in a double overtime affair.

I kinda think first round games shouldn't count. Once the 'real' teams start to play, then that should be the cutoff. JMO.

I will allow anyone who wants to play to submit their picks by Noon Eastern time as long as no teams you pick have actually played. After all this is just for fun so I don't want to exclude anyone that wants to get involved.
