Hope she's able to return for the NCAA tournament like she's planning on.

Sorry to hear this. Exhaustion is a symptom of something deeper going on, not a diagnosis in and of itself. I hope CVS fully recovers.

If it's truly exhaustion, and she's unable to get through a regular season, I think this is apt to foreshadow her retirement.

My thought too. Best wishes to her for her recovery. I've thought she's been looking really 'grey' these days.

I beg to differ with this assessment. People who take their job seriously can overwork themselves. Recovery is simply time away from work to get the rest needed. Being a single parent of a very active kid while holding down a full and part time job also directly caused exhaustion.

On the other hand, celebs who choose to overdo the party lifestyle will release they are exhausted instead of the more accurate "strung out, hooked on uppers, chose not to sleep until they hit the wall." Also, exhaustion and depression often accompany each other, but they are separate conditions with different treatment recommendations. When I retired from full time work, I was exhausted. The only thing I needed to do to recover was sleep day after day until I felt like getting up.

But you have to factor in her age with that. She also is a single parent with a total needs child.

https://www.nj.com/rutgerswomen/2019/02/rutgers-womens-basketball-rocked-with-more-tumult-as-2nd-player-dismissed-from-team-in-4-days.html

Quote:
The Rutgers women’s basketball’s best playmaker has been dismissed less than a week after its leading rebounder was kicked off the team.

Ciani “C.C.’’ Cryor, a redshirt junior from Philadelphia whose 6.1 assists-per-game average in Big Ten games is second-best in the conference, was dismissed for a violation of team policy, two persons with knowledge of the situation told NJ Advance Media on Monday.

The persons requested anonymity because they have not been authorized to speak publicly about the situation.

The two persons with knowledge of the situation told NJ Advance Media that Cryor’s dismissal wasn’t due to criminal activity.

Dealing with all that would exhaust ME!!! Psychologically if not physically. My sympathies are with C,Viv. Sometimes you just don't know what the kids are gonna do.

I remember reading an article 15-20 years ago that she only slept 4-5 hours a night.

Somehow I don't think bringing in a second player who was just arrested twice is going to diminish C Viv's stress level.
