Yeah, let's single out that kicked ball no-call as being the decisive one in the game, instead of the no-calls on Missouri's fouling for 40 minutes.

just a wee bit of a homer viewpoint eh? Whenever I see Tenn play, I always think they get away with a lot of fouling.

Laughing

1- LV fans lost all rights to bitch about officiating, oh, about 20 years ago.

2- a kicked ball is one of the clearest calls to make, and the ball was clearly kicked.

Yaa....TN had no disadvantage in the fouls called/not called dept., imo.

I had no real rooting interest in this one, and was glad to see it was a close game. Not always pretty, but definitely both teams were playing all-out. The 2 stats that jumped out at me most glaringly were Sophie's low FG% (credit TN defense), and TN's huge rebounding advantage, ESPECIALLY the O-boards-without-points (credit NO one Razz). That combination should have kept it from being close....but, ya never know til ya play it out. 2 more seconds on the clock, and Mizzou coulda won with that amazing half-court shot. Cool

I am not a Tenn fan but I notice when they really NEED to win a game they usually get help from the refs. It usually happens when they are at home but today it was on the other teams court.

Absent the snarkiness from some of y'all, just let me say that I kind of like Mimi Collins. I think when she gets over her freshman jitters and klutziness, she's going to be quite fun to watch.

agree. she's got talent and good size. I keep expecting Kushkituah (sp?) to do something but she still looks pretty out of her element.

Agree. Collins may turn out to be the best of these freshmen. As for KK, she hasn't been the same since she came back from that knee injury.

KK will be all right. She looks a little better every game. You have to give the big girls at least two years. I keep remembering what Geno said about Tina Charles, that for the first couple of years she was pretty worthless. The big girls have to kind of grow into their game.
