I anticipate a three point shootout here. Neither team defends the three very well and both teams can make a lot of 'em.

I think Oregon has too much size and experience in this one. Sabally is a match-up nightmare.

Stanford withstands the initial Oregon surge. Now can they climb back in with Sabally out with 2 fouls

Nice to see that Smith didn't get one call from all her falling down in the 1st half. The trees only look good at Maples. HHHHMMMM I wonder why? Rolling Eyes

It's on us Myrtle, this is the worst D I have ever seen us play, it is just dumb and we have no fight, we are just laying down both ends.

BTWs that is BS Beth OR leaves in to pad stats, they have players they can put in.

One of the announcers said there is no clear top team this year.

There is now.

Yeah, I think we're mostly playing for 2nd and 3rd.

Are we talking PAC12 or nationally?

If the latter, I disagree this game separates the Ducks from the pack.

I'm pretty sure it was P12. Oregon is clearly the cream of our crop. I highly doubt they lose another game before the NCAAs unless they get a major injury.

I agree. But it's old news, at least here on the right coast. Very Happy

LOVED it. Cool

I don't get to see most of Oregon's games, but I was hugely impressed with their defense today....just spot on! Many point to that as The Ducks' greatest weakness, but that theory got blown out of the water today. Now, consistency is another matter, but they certainly proved they CAN perform nicely on that end of the floor.

Gorgeous offensive display, too....amazing. 75% on 3s, combined with 57% on FG total is pretty unbeatable. Again--fingers crossed for consistency in this til April is over. Very Happy

Sidenote: I tried hard to focus on Boley and Cazorla today. I'm very impressed with the not-always-flashy-but-awesome contributions they make. Good stuff.

Now for some Beaver pelts! Shocked Razz

The 40-pt margin was, but a 20-pt win wouldn't have been, imo.

Massacre at Maples.

Now please lay off Tennessee for a couple of days. At least they were ranked much lower and lost to the #6 team after putting up a fight, and without their (arguably) best player.

Sorry but my trees were trees and you don't even need to guard trees as they don't move. I saw 2 times where we actually drove and went straight past them, BUT that was the problem ONLY 2 times. Tara was right that this was embarrassing. Embarassed

Might be a good wake-up call for Stanford, certainly a capable team.

Oregon is also putting on a clinic. They've matured offensively and their defense is finally catching up. I wonder if they aren't the best team in the country right now? They just look like an oiled machine out there. Hopefully they haven't even fully peaked?

Here's the stat that gets me: 4 starts shoot 40% or better from the 3-point line. And the 5th starter is their post player who is 70% FG percentage. Shocked

If the Final Four was this upcoming weekend, Oregon would be my pick to win it all (over Louisville).

Tara Interview: http://www.stanfordfbc.org/
'I don't throw anybody under the bus' and
'I kinda wish we had someone a bit nasty - everybody on this team is so nice'

I totally love Ms Tara. She's a wonderful human being.
