Do you know why these things keep happened to these public people? From like... everyone? Because those who seek and actually achieve any degree of high profile public life are so often such deeply flawed individuals. We can’t keep up. Elizabeth Warren’s Texas bar app. Liam Neeson. The Virginians. Please pay attention to how many of these people are doing and saying things that so many of us have never done or said. Who thinks that when they hand the mic to you that you should be caught dead explaining Hitler?

The thread title is in quotes but removed the IF she said at the front of the quote. Although she was clearly forgetting/ignoring that Hitler's "nationalism" did something horrific beyond attacking other countries. It is crazy to use Hitler in an attempt to positively define anything, including nationalism.

She had such a bright future. Went from being a gift to Republicans to a gift to the Democrats. The Democrats will be sure to mention Hitler every time her name comes up. It's like Trump's "good people on both sides comment" and Northam's birth comments - ripe for the other side to distort and lie about. Here comes "Candace Owens admires Hitler and Trump".
