Hands down the best Finals I've ever been a part of. Great defense, but players were still knocking down shots.

We were anxious as hell standing in the vomitory with the championship trophy late in Game 2, not knowing what we might have to endure from the crowd if the Sparks won the title on the Shock's home court.

2003 as a whole league-wide is one of the best seasons of the league thus far.

I was at Game #2 of the WNBA Finals that year in Auburn Hills. Truly a great game and an incredible atmosphere.

I didn't come to the Shock fandom until Katie Smith got traded to the team, but I remember watching this video and thinking it was just great to see the place wild with enthusiasm.

Deanna Nolan's big 3 pointer to give the Shock the lead is another great video.

The most amazing thing about the Detroit Shock was how I found myself rooting for a Bill Laimbeer team given how I despised him when he was a player.

One of the most exciting moments in league history . Mighty LA got knocked off from their quest to 3 peat as champs !
