Michigan takes down #13 Iowa in their game, delayed from yesterday. The Big Ten continues its topsy turvy pathway.

Pretty brutal for Iowa...to get there in this weather, then play at a weird time. Just ouch.

Wow - Villanova is up 31-8 against Providence at halftime. Providence had been playing better so far during conference play.

Drake is losing to Missouri State 71-67 with 5 minutes left in the game. This would be a bad loss for a team trying to climb back into the top 25.

Missouri St 85 Drake 79 Final

Missouri St began the season 1-7, but has won its last 10 games. While they played some tough teams they also lost to a terrible Wichita St team and also lost to Santa Clara and North Texas. Does anyone know if they had some injuries at the start of the season or had a transfer that became eligible?

one of the most boring games of the record currently happening in Tempe. Almost end of Q3: 36-28 with Arizona shooting 16% from 3 while ASU is at a whopping 22%.

Myrtle - I didn't see your comments on last night's Cal Stanford game. It was a lot more exciting than this game.

unfortunately...or fortunately, I had an outside engagement and didn't see it. I saw a bit this morning though. Looks like Cal has found an outside shot, which is what has been lacking for years. If y'all can shoot like that consistently, you have a beautiful inside-out game and should actually win some in the NCAA's, presuming you can get there. Congrats on the win. I do expect revenge tomorrow however...

Oregon wins by 20 but the score is a bit misleading. Close game thru three quarters. And Huff had a truly outstanding game. 38pts-11rebs with excellent %

Utah just ran out of gas in the 4Q. It’ll be interesting to see how they bounce back against OSU in Corvallis. Beavs easily disposed of Colorado with a “4 point guards and a forward” lineup. White-hot 3 point shooting of 71% with Goodman going 6-for-6.

BYU joins the Top 25 and qsubsequently loses two games in a row likely dropping them out of the top 25 ranking and putting them behind Gonzaga for the lead in the WCC.

By the way, Laura Stockton, is finally playing up to her pedigree and I believe is a big reason why Gonzaga is rocking the West Coast this season

Zags win at St Mary's. HUGE win. Not sure what has happened to the Gaels but Zags have rolled them both times they played. The addition by subtraction principle is in effect for Gonzaga this year. They are much better team without Jill Barta.

Not only does this drop them out of the top 25, it probably takes them out of the NCAA.

Tough game with Utah leading most of the first half. But OSU heated up on offense and locked down on D and pulled away to win by 8 and cover the the -6.5 spread.

Towson came to the Convo Center in Harrisonburg today for a game that would decided, at least for the time being, just exactly who was sitting atop the CAA. In a hard-fought game in which the lead changed more than several times and the game finally had to go into OT, JMU finally took it away, 71-59. It was really well into the 3Q before the refs discovered what their whistles were for. Up until then a couple of the Towson players had literally been running over and throwing around JMU players. Only when it threatened to get really chippy did they finally start calling fouls that should have been called earlier. Towson is a well-coached team and it is really not necessary for them to play that way.

Ohhh, my. That TN/Vandy game was a (dark) shadow of what Once Was.

The first minute 'bout scared me: TN can't score on 19 O-boards in the first possession, and then a wee-bitty Vandy player gets a breakaway--2 TN guards run away from her, and she MISSES the layup. Shocked Shocked

<sigh!> At least TN pulled it out. Crying or Very sad
