Thanks. I tried to find games that looked like they would be competitive. Hopefully I don't fall on my face in the next 10.

Kudos to Myrtle for her games this week, at least for the first half. She was able to confound the group such that the combined percentage so far is only 47% and she is the only player over 50%. Good job.

Ohhhh! Don't encourage her.... Evil or Very Mad Her picks (and their consequent outcomes) have induced cardio arrhythmias, panic attacks and general malaise in me. And I know that's her Big Plan Exclamation

I was 5-5 at the half. Looks like 12-8 for the week, which passable. Much better than last week's abomination.

Week 13:
Ok, I guess someone who put Alcorn-Rust on the table can’t complain too much about the meaninglessness of many of these games….however… this is brutal.

Michigan St
Villanova
UCLA
Savannah St
Siena
UC Riverside
San Diego St
New Orleans @ NW Louisiana (I call foul on this – ESPN lists this important game as at Northwestern State. If Northwestern State = NW Louisiana then I choose them. Otherwise New Orleans wins by default Twisted Evil )
Kentucky
Miami (FL)
Duke
Old Dominion (even though North Texas handily beat Panhandle State)
Marshall
Eastern Washington
Manhattan
Loyola-Chicago
Marshall Thunders on
Middle Tennessee
Bryant
Coppin St (yikes)

Northwestern State is NW Louisiana. Northwestern State University of Louisiana, to be precise.

I chose games that should be close, regardless of importance in the standings.

I never know until Cal posts the results. Sometimes I do better than I thought, and sometimes worse. Sometimes I look up specific games. Especially hate losing those OT games! Like maybe we should get a 1/2 point for those.

And Morgan St

Thanks pilight for picking the games. Your slate will probably make people complain less about mine. Seriously two games each for Fairfield and Marshal.. Good job.

My original plan was 32 games, one from each conference, but that was too much

Week 12 was won by Myrtle* with 14, her first win of the season. After the players only picked 47% in the first half of the games, they rebounded with 75% in the second half. No games were correctly picked by just 1 player. Dinkytown picked both Arizona St (over Oregon St) and Richmond (over LaSalle. Only Howee (ASU) and Lynxmania(Richmond) got those games right This was also the sixth straight week where the winner had 14 correct.
She also picked the games. Make what you want of that.

You want to ask a question like that the week before you are picking the games. Just wait for the second guessing on your choices.

He said he wanted to pick close games. Some of us don't think that game will be all that close.

OK Howee, you are up. Let's see if you can pick a group of games that no one will complain about.

No one 'complain'?? I'd be devastated.... Laughing

Yessir. Coming to a thread near you: the list is completed.

Though I'm strongly considering not submitting my list until the 11th hour, so you stat freaks (pi, myr, and cal) don't have time to pore over your JuJu beads and hyper-analyze for advantages over lazier players like me. Razz

(How long do I have....til midnight Saturday? Shocked )
