ISU trailing WVU after one by 7. WVU hitting the threes instead of ISU Shocked Never heard of Lucky Rudd but she's 3-4 from downtown.

Halftime: ISU went on 13-0 run. WVU still up by 1 - 31-30. Carleton went on a big personal run. WVU backup players really pathetic.

Texas down by 19 at halftime to KState. Totally over-rated.

Rutgers ekes out the win over Purdue, 65-63. SKs remain undefeated in the B1G, and undefeated at home this season.

Yeeesh. TX and Iowa State both go down to 'lesser' opponents. Couldn't watch either game....anybody here watch? Any stellar Underdog performances, or just a plain ol' crapfest? Shocked

Final score KSU 87, Texas 69.

Waiting on Howee to tell us once again about how Karen Sue Aston actually is an excellent coach and never ever ever wastes the army of All American talent she recruits. Rolling Eyes

There's probably not a single player on the KSU roster who even got within a sniff of an offer from Texas.

It appears that almost everyone who followed WCBB and posted on those forums knew Texas was overrated except those doing the rankings. It should have really been obvious once they began to have injury issues. Again it shows that it is far harder for wins and loses to overcome a reputation than it is for some team with out one to get ranked even with a good record.

Vandy blows 20 point lead. Auburn 72-70. (5-13, 0-5 conference) Oh, Stephanie...

Tonight's lesson in fecklessness. Hawaii scored 6 points in quarter 1, 6 points in quarter 2 and 6 points in quarter 3. At home, we lost to Cal State Northridge 49-29.

I didn't see the game, but got this info from the game stats.

Vanderbilt starters played 40, 40, 39, 35, 30 minutes.

Bree Horrocks who had "retired" before the season started due to blood clots, but returned due to all the Vandy injuries played 10 minutes when Newby got 4 fouls.
Sarah Gordon, the only walk-on available accounted for the other 6 minutes.
The soccer player walk-on (in December) left the team a couple weeks ago. Don't know why.
I believe three injured players who had come back temporarily have been re-injured. Don't know if/when they will return.

It seems, the REAL Vandy played for 37+ minutes and led by as many as 20 points. Then, the exhausted team just gave out the last 9 seconds of the game. (It seems they have been playing these kinds of minutes pretty much the entire season).

Didn't realize that the Vanderbilt squad was wracked with injuries. I know they've had a few departures in the last two years. Does SW survive if she goes 0-fer in SEC?

Post-game Stephanie following the Auburn loss.

JMU went to UNCW and dropped this road game, 66-63. Hopefully they will recover enough to beat College of Charleston on Sunday.

The bright side for Oklahoma, I guess, is that they have played Iowa State practically even over the last three quarters of the game.

.....and "bright sides" are few and far between for Oklahoma.

Unusual box score--67 free throws attempted, Iowa State only outrebounds shrimpy Oklahoma by margin of 45-40, but shoots over 49% from the floor..... Shocked I figured they'd win, but that's a hell of a beat down. Embarassed

Heave down the court by Cierra Dillard to Summer Hemphill for the 61-59 win at Western Mich.
