While there are 20 teams who haven't lost there are only 10 that haven't won. (several more haven't won against a Division 1 team) Here is the list of teams to root for to get off the schneid, along with their next best chance to do so:

Seattle (0-16) - January 24 - Chicago St

No longer winless
LaSalle - Today - Norfolk St (W) 62-52
North Carolina Central - December 12 - UNC Greensboro 66-57
McNeese St - December 17 - Southern-New Orleans 106-54
Loyola (Md) - December 22 - Monmouth 75-67
Long Island - December 29 - Lafayette 55-50
Incarnate Word - January 2 - @McNeese St 68-66
Coppin St - January 7 - Delaware St 71-57
Tennessee St - January 10 - E Kentucky 60-38

Chicago St - January 17 - Grand Canyon 50-48

LaSalle gets its first win 62-52 over Norfolk St. Sophomore Michelle Nicholls came off the bench to lead the Explorers with 17 points, including 5 3 pointers.

It's shocking that Seattle has gone from an NCAA Tourney Berth to finding itself on Rebkell's infamous winless list.

NC Central won today! 66-57 over UNC-Greensboro (who has not beat a D-I team this season).

North Carolina used the return of Rodneysha Martin, an all-MEAC player last season, to get their first win. Martin scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Eagles and Paulina Afriyie added 17 points and 13 rebounds.

McNeese St won on Monday and I missed it. They beat Southern-New Orleans 106-54. I guess the level of competition matters.

How far the Sioux have fallen. Coach Brewster has got to be on the hot seat.

Catching up on some items on this thread. I have updated the lead to show the 5 remaining teams without a win and their next decent chance for a win.
Additionally below is a synopsis on the wins by Loyola Maryland and Long Island.

Loyola-Maryland used a huge 3rd quarter to upset Monmouth 75-67. The Greyhounds shot 75% and scored 31 points in the third. This is a team that has been held under 50 points in more than half their games and is only shooting 31% from the floor. Junior Alexis Gray led the team with 15 points.

Long Island fell behind 26-12 to Lafayette with just under 4 minutes left in the half, but then scored the last 10 of the half and the first 4 in the third quarter to tie the game. They took a 4 point lead by the end of the third and led the entire 4th quarter. Erykah Russell, a redshirt sophomore transfer from Western Carolina scored 11 points in her debut for the Blackbirds. Freshman Brandy Thomas also had 11.

Alas, it wasn't the F'n'Hawks that the Hatters beat. It was the Bison.

Incarnate Word has a chance against McNeese State - for all practical purposes, a pick 'em game. Home court may be the edge.

Incarnate Word got its first win tonight, 68-66, at McNeese St. McNeese St has yet to beat a Division 1 school but has 2 wins over other teams. UIW came from 11 points down in the 4th quarter to secure the victory. Imani Robinson (13 points) tied the game with 2:33 to go and Lunden Henry (14 pts, 11 rebounds) put the Cardinals ahead with 1:55 remaining. Angelica Wiggins led UIW with 16 points.

Happy to see Incarnate Word get a win. I have tangentially followed Christy Smith's career since she played HS ball with my cousin. She had a nice progression as an assistant coach, but is now 15 and 55 as a head coach at UIW. It could be that she is just a bad head coach, but it also could real example of why an assistant should be careful about jumping to the first head coaching job that comes up.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but she took that job after the staff at Arkansas got fired right? So wasn’t even necessarily her taking the first HC job that came up, but maybe was tough to get on board somewhere (assistants that are part of fired staff often time struggle to remain at the D1 level) and IW presented a chance to do that.

Could well be, but the results at UIW surely aren't helping matters.

Here's all the teams that haven't won a D1 game this season (alphabetical order) with some inter-winless matchups this week. This is from the RPI site so only D1 games are included in the record. UAPB must've played a slew of non-D1s for only having 4 games listed.

Alabama State (0-11) - plays UAPB 1/12
Arkansas-Pine Bluff (0-4) - plays Alabama St 1/12
Charleston Southern (0-9)
Chicago State (0-14)
Coppin State (0-14) - plays Delaware St tomorrow
Delaware State (0-10) - plays Coppin tomorrow
Eastern Kentucky (0-11) - plays Tennessee St 1/10
McNeese State (0-10)
Seattle (0-15)
Southern (0-8)
Tennessee State (0-14) - plays Eastern KY 1/10

Yes. They won the WAC tournament last year, and lost to Oregon in the first round of NCAA's. Mind you, they finished 18-15 last season.

It's a shocking turnaround from last season to this one. Not really sure what's caused it.

And then there were 3. Coppin St beats Delaware St 71-57. Delaware St is also winless against Division 1 competition, but has beaten Non-DI teams, including former national champion Cheney St.

On the same day that the number of unbeatens dwindled to 1 (North Carolina St), the number of Winless shrank to 2. Tennessee St didn't merely beat Eastern Kentucky, they shellacked them, 60-38. Of course EKU is not a great team. They don't have any Division 1 wins, beating only Kentucky Christian and Brescia.

That leaves just Chicago St and Seattle, and these two teams play each other twice, first on January 24 in Seattle and again on February 23 in Chicago.
