I'd hate to be an ASU fan. Unwatchable offense.

18-11 SU end 1

The Cardinal woke up after that previous timeout so order has been restored

You missed a great comeback. ASU on an 11-2 run after the break to close the gap: 36-33 Cardinal.

Myrtle will be happy to see that the Cardinal largely carried this game by going 14-14 from the charity stripe.

Could very easily have been a different result if that half court prayer before the final break wasn't answered

Oh yeah, Carrington's buzzerbeater along with the Cardinal's uncharacteristic accuracy from the stripe played a huge role in this.

Is Sniezek expected back this season?

She was, but that seems uncertain now.

Not good. But even more, hoping to see Dodson this year.

Yeah, you know me too well! Missed the game. Just got home and looked at the box. I noticed that right away. Laughing

Keep your fingers crossed, but I think Dodson is expected back soon.

That would mean she could redshirt right? But aren't we full up for scholies next year? Any idea how that would go? Or is Romano totally done?

There are no scholarships open next year. If Marta redshirts she could play elsewhere as a grad student next year, or could return but walk on. Ruef was planning to do that at one point, so it's not unheard of. (In Ruef's case medical retirements opened up a scholarship after all.)

Romano seemingly is done (no longer on the roster), but this is her senior year anyway, so that doesn't open up a scholarship for next year.

somehow I was thinking Romano is a junior. But that means we have 4 seniors (including Marta) Don't we just have three signees next year?

nvm: I just realized I was thinking that prior to Haley Jones signing. Gee, it would be really nice to have Marta next year as a true point guard with the plethora of wings. We will be knee deep in wings. I mean that'll be a good problem for Tara to have - trying to find playing time for all of them. The Hulls (especially Lacie) have definitely outperformed my expectations. Hopefully Brown can step up to the PG plate.

I'm already pretty excited about next year. And hoping Nadia can heal quickly enough to be a factor for us again.
