Both teams coming off conference losses. Vols have already faced a pressing team on the road in Auburn. So I think they can handle that part of the Kentucky attack. If I'm defending gold, I go into zone anyway. Mississippi State killed Auburn on the glass. I think Vols can do that as well.

Morris is 4-4 from 3, and at least 3 of them were well-contested. I don't know how she got one of them even off, a hand being in her face.

27-16 end 1. Howard and Morris each have 2 fouls for the Wildcats.

What looked to me like a common foul (despite the call) I against a break away and landed as awkwardly as I've ever seen.

Legs kinda pin wheeled and she landed facing down with nothing soft breaking the fall.

Seemed to hit on her right hip first. Leg kinda whipped down too.

Not sure what is most hurt but looked like she hit every painful thing possible like hip bone, and knee...

I hope she isn't Injured.

Can't imagine how many things hurt - in that drain all the energy out of you kind of way.

I think Westbrook is good...but not as hot shit as she seems to think she is. Anyway good that she has another couple of years to get it better under control and to work on her left hand.

Indeed! I wish all of the LV guards could actually shoot!! Also, the free throws or lack thereof has been infuriating for the games I've watched.

Pretty much a miracle that KY could hold on to that win without their three best players!

So Matthew mitchell was able to revive kentucky after rebuilding 2 years faster than holly could revive tennessee in what feels like 30 years. Expectations are different i know but still, Holly is horrible and just about 90% of WBB fans and personel know and yet shes still the HBIC.

Sadly, it is unlikely that she will develop much at Tennessee. Muffet really wanted her and she should have gone there, as Muffet is very good at developing guards. Of course she wouldn't have gotten this much playing time at ND (i.e., she wouldn't have started these past two seasons).

Westbrook is light years ahead of last year. With or without Holly, she's improving. She's put the team on her back several times this year and won several games that way. She tried to do the same last night and ended up pressing too much. Jackson has had two bad games in a row. C Green is a fiercesome rebounder but needs to learn to make all those putbacks. Davis disappears in physical or scrappy games and last night was no exception. All those missed putbacks and 12 missed FT's were the difference in the game.
