Laughing it's true. I looked earlier and ISU was up by 20, then I flipped to it again and Shocked Then when the scoreboard gave ISU made FTs to Kansas, that was a bit upsetting as well. So...phew.

Enjoying this game! Very competitive

Big Ten seems much improved overall - good coaching, better recruiting - and this is a fun conference season.

Michigan might be good for a while with these freshmen and sophomores

Gonzaga is 4-0 in the WCC after dropping Pacific today in Spokane. Included in the run are a 12 point win over st Mary's (picked to finish second in the league) and a 25 point win over Loyola Marymount.

At 9-1 this is the best start in program history.

I knew that Maryland would win against Ohio State. After all they had just lost to C Viv's team and I knew that playing at home they werenot going to lose to Ohio State.

Well, they almost did. It was a pretty crappy game.

Butler moves to 4-0 to start BE play with a 66-45 win at home against St. John's. They stand alone in first place in BE play for now - Marquette is second at 3-0. Butler has their rivalry game next weekend at Xavier so they'll be even on games played with Marquette after next weekend until either team has their next rivalry game.

In a little bit of a surprising result to me, Villanova lost at Providence 67-61.

Creighton is home to Georgetown on CBS Sports Network now and up 45-31 halfway through the third quarter.

Xavier is hosting Seton Hall and has a 40-32 lead with 2:41 to go in the third quarter. If that lead holds, that means that the two previously winless teams in BE play will pick up their first league win today (Providence was the other).

What is the deal with Georgetown? Have they completely lost interest in WBB? They were decent for quite a few years. Not any more. Sad

Michigan State’s bad week just got worse. They lost a nail biter today to Indiana 68-64. That comes directly after losing a close one to Northwestern in their last outing.

Spartans beat a couple of ranked teams, then lose to the unranked. Big 10 is shaping up as an unpredictable conference this season.

UVA loses to CLEMSON, 71-65.

Instead of worrying about hiring a real coach, they tried to make a splash by hiring a "name" in Tina Thompson, and now they completely suck. 6-8 on the year. It's only going to get uglier now that league play has started.

Classic inept hiring blunder by the UVA powers that be. It will take years to climb out of the hole they've dug for themselves.

On the other hand, Clemson is improving step-by-step.

Double OT now! USD trailed 89-82 in OT but rallied back to 91-91.

The OrangeWomen nip tucked VT in OT 74-71 behind Tiana Manghakwhathaveyous 26 PGA, 9 boards, 6 assists, 3 steals. She hasn't been the most consistent this year but today she shouldered the Quse.
