They (RU) only managed 45 points the other day in a win, and today they looked like a completely different team against the #4 team. I'm confused.

I'm kinda glad this happened. Maryland is clearly not the #4 team in the country and I thought it possible they could skate on thru the B10. They just kept moving up the rankings by beating a lot of cupcakes, including So Caro.

I agree with you that Maryland is not close to #4 this season. I expected them to drop, just not so soon and not to a team that 3 days ago only managed to score 45 points (but C Viv won that game, too, so I got to hand it to her).

I think the Terps rise up the rankings was more about other teams losing than anything else. Now that they’ve lost, it’s Maryland’s turn to take a big drop, just like those others.
