The only movie role that I remember seeing Moffat in was as Lyndon B. Johnson (first as a U.S. Senator, and later, as Vice-President) in The Right Stuff (1983). His scene where he becomes angrily frustrated with trying to meet John Glenn's wife was hilarious!

I would've lost a lot of money betting on a "sure thing" that Moffatt played the warden in "The Green Mile". Had to look it up to be sure.
