Oregon's lack of roster will keep them from having enough fouls to give inside. (Miss McGwire A LOT in this one) If Ruthy gets in foul trouble they will be in deep do-do. On the other hand, the focus should be on forcing other players to beat them...
so it should be a fun one.

There is really no reason for McCowan to go out to the perimeter on defense. Hebard won't score from out there. Makes no sense. Leave the big girl lurking in the middle.
But I'm still not convinced McCowan is all that great. Big, yes. Maybe she can learn, but she will be a project at the next level.

There have been some truly abysmal calls in this first half against both teams.
I hate it when the officiating becomes this big a factor in a game.
As but three glaring examples, the last foul call was ridiculous, the T on Graves was even sillier, and the "unsportsmanlike" call on McCowan was an absurd application of the rule. Actually, both foul calls against McCowan were total screw jobs.
Meanwhile there have been lots of blatant traveling violations by both teams ignored or unseen by the officials. Not a good night for the zebras.
And McCowan must be the most misused/underutilized player in all of WCBB. They have the strongest, most potentially dominant center in the game and their offense consists of their Smurf guards shooting 3s and pull up jumpers. I don't get it.
