32-13 after 1 Q.

SCar has no inside size, no outside shooting, and they're undisciplined.

Not a good combination.

They do play scrappy tenacious defense. Not sure that's enough.

If this team stays in the top 25 it will be out of deference to the SEC and Staley, not because it's deserved.

It was hard for me to watch South Carolina lose so badly. I like both these teams but SC is my favorite. I don't have a team in my town that I follow.

Thought this one *might* be a bit closer. Shocked

My biggest take-away is that Miss Brown has some hard-core developing to do if she's interested in bolstering her draft stock. I mean, she wasn't awful today, but I still see the need for improved conditioning and a better face-up game. Cambage/Griner/etc. will eat her up. Love the kid, tho, and hope for a ton of improvement.

Did Staley unwisely give the keys to Cooper when she has promising guards in Tyasha Harris and Bianca Jackson? Seems like Harris has regressed in particular.

Been saying this all along. I could actually see Mulkey go with her younger crew as she couldn't play Brown last year against tougher teams who can move and her younger crew seem very capable and could use the early experience to give them the confidence later.

I thought this was kind of an odd game. Baylor jumped out to a huge early lead, and the game never really got closer, but it seemed like Baylor continued to dominate but the lead never really grew much.

It seemed like the way Baylor was in charge, the lead should have risen to the 40s, but it never did. Nor did it ever significantly shrink. It just stayed in a ten point range in the 20s for the last 30 minutes of play.
