Marist is back, I tell you! The Foxes have started 6-1 this season, and currently lead a hapless Blue Devils 15-11....

Tennessee beat Oklahoma State pretty handily, 76-63. It was closer in the first half. The Lady Vols got in some foul trouble, with Rennia Davis fouling out in the 4Q with 5 minutes to go, but they're so stacked it almost didn't matter. The freshmen are still freshmen, though, and still prone to freshman mistakes.

One thing that disturbed me was when an OSU player took a pretty hard (unintentional) shot to the head and went to her coach kind of shaking her head a little. He just told her to get back in the game. With today's emphasis on concussion protocol, I think many coaches might have taken her out for a play or two and had the trainer check her out, just a precaution. Just my opinion, though.....

Yeah, I'd say it was "closer", as in OkSt was leading at halftime.

As for the "pretty handily", I guess it depends on whether you consider a 5 pt game with 4 minutes left to play, " pretty handily."

Tenn did assert itself and finish well though.

Meh, have it your way. You were too busy snarling at the screen on that other game anyway. The lead changed hands a bunch of times but Tennessee managed to come out on top every time. I wasn't ever worried. At least they didn't lose their drawers like the Irish.
