When this was scheduled, I bet they thought this would be a Rutgers win. But now VaTech is playing very well at 7-0, with wins over Chattanooga, Villanova, and Richmond, while Rutgers is 5-2 and didn't look particularly good in losses to very good Gonzaga and Drake teams in the Vancouver Festival.

This may be one of the better and most unpredictable games of the Challenge, but I'm picking the Hokies at home to win.

For those who haven't seen her yet, watch for Dara Mabrey. The freshman (younger sister of Notre Dame's Michaela and Marina) is starting for VaTech, is 2nd on the team in scoring, 1st in assists, and is shooting 56% from the floor. You're going to hear her name for four years.

Tied at the half, VaT breaks it open after intermission to win 67-51.

Va Tech remains undefeated.
