Myrtle gets to watch Presley Hudson on ESPN+ today.
She’s the only one I’ve never heard of before.

They must have made this list early, because Kitija Laksa is done for the season. Could have added Destiny Slocum. Anybody ever heard of her?

Boy, that is a really long list. What is the criteria as I see Crystal Dangerfield on the list and can not recollect anything that stands from her freshman and sophomore year to have her chosen for any award at present. In all seriousness for those who are more familiar with the selection process exactly what is the criteria for selecting all these candidates?

She was anointed as the eventual winner way back when she was in HS, and I'll be surprised if she doesn't win it, but the only award Samuelson has actually earned is "most overrated."

I frankly don't understand why Dangerfield remains on this list either. Collier is the one and only star on that team.

Lol Samuelson will not win, calm down. Agreed Dangerfield shouldn’t be on the list.

Crystal Dangerfield is probably the second-best PG in the country behind Sabrina. She deserves a spot on this list.

Not sure how ND gets 5 and Satou Sabally gets overlooked. She’s probably the best sophomore in the country and my current #1 pick in 2021. I’d take her over Hebard, TBH, although I think all 3 should be there.

Notre Dame has only 2: Arike and Shepard.

Personally I don’t think Sophie Cunningham belongs on the short list at all.

Is "shitty attitude" a disqualifier? Because considering basketball performance alone she clearly belongs on the list.

Disagree. And I may see a lot more of her than you do, seeing as how I probably watch a lot more SEC. I just don't think she's all that wonderful, *plus* the aforementioned attitude, which ought to have some bearing. If she were, she wouldn't have to play dirty. Oh well, she's not likely to win anyway.

Yeah that's a joke the only thing overrated is the ND team, I mean how many shots can you take with all those players and miss.

As of now, I'd give it to Gustafson. Statistically, for all of D1 according to NatStat, she's:

- Way, way ahead of everyone else in efficiency: 25.8 to the next player's 19.5.
- #1 in PPG
- #2 in FG%
- #2 in TS%
- #3 in RPG
- shooting 1000% on 3pt shots (1-1)

Durr doesn't have the stats and Anigwe just hasn't helped Cal get anywhere. I agree with Glenn on Gustafson right now but it will be interesting to see how they fair down the stretch.

I would put my money on Ionescu.
