LVs win 78-68. Not sure if it's a surprising showing by Clemson, an underachievement by the LVs, or an honest contest talent-wise.

You watching UAB vs OU? Looks like UAB is up 9 late in the 2nd Q.

And UAB takes down Oklahoma, 89-84.

These holiday tournaments are producing some interesting outcomes today.

Iowa is down early to #25 West Virginia 17-25.

EDIT: Wow. West Virginia is outscoring Iowa 24-2 in the 2nd quarter. Up 41-19.

some crazy shit happening today. Maybe some players got over-stuffed with their turkey dinners.

UAB 11 TENN 5 4:58 1st

LVs are one dumb, poorly coached team. (news flash, I know).

I now have hope UConn will beat them next year. (not that the Huskies field a team of Rhodes Scholars).

UAB still up at half by 9! Shocked

Maybe Kentucky will win the SEC this year...

I'm personally rooting for Alabama or Ol' Miss, m'self. Razz

UAB must be pretty decent, which I figured when they dismantled Oklahoma. Laughing Laughing Laughing

UAB played a pretty respectable game against a team with much more size and athleticism and actually led until the closing minutes of the 4th quarter. Tenn looked like a hot mess for much of the game...poor decisions, TO's, lousy defense, lousier FT shooting, and dumb mistakes. In the end, they hung tough, and Davis stepped up with some big buckets and key RB's. They've got some work to do before their next game.

I didn't see this game but so far this looks like a classic Tennessee team that will get by just by having more raw talent than most of its opponents. It might just be able to finish ahead of everyone in the SEC but Miss St on that basis.

I can hardly wait for the Tenn @ Texas game next month. A whole bunch of uncoached 5 star recruits wearing orange.

I missed the 4th quarter, but if I heard it right from the pbp guy, UAB's 93% FT shooter missed both FTs, TENN then missed a shot to end regulation tied.

Not quite, it was another UAB player that missed the final FT's, then Tenn missed 2 shots at the end of regulation.

Thought Iowa would run us out of the gym. Last year we had no answer for Gustafson and needed a 31 pt performance from Shakayla to squeak out a 2 point win.

Nausia Woolfolk has played well lately after a slow start to the season. Good to Myers hold her own against the experienced Hawkeye front court.

Good win after that horrible performance against LSU.

No more scoreless quarters I hope? Very Happy

Lol that was so bad all I could was laugh last week.

Myers and co did a good job of limiting Gustafson's touches. What a difference it is to have a post who can defend. Last year White/Degbeon got abused against Iowa.

She has a good chance to be ACC roty this season.

Dont see ND having any trouble with Iowa next week. Ogunbowale/Young should have field days as Iowa struggled with the athleticism of FSU guards.

I got an email from flohoops Sunday at 4:30pm with a link to watch the PJ, " live now!".

Of course, the PJ ended Sat.
