Here is a professionally produced biographical video of Breanna Stewart. I'm self-consciously posting it because, after years of losing money while traveling to film and interview women's basketball players, I made $300,000.00 an hour for my contributions to this video. (Not a typo.)

Now I see why WNBA players are so unhappy with their pay. WNBA Video Contributors can make more per hour than they make per season.

I am the cause of their unhappiness? I sincerely hope not. Breanna seemed appreciative of my work, at the time. It's also true that my contribution didn't amount to nearly as many hours as the players have to work in a season, and that I won't owe any taxes on the income. A puzzle? Nah . . . elementary, Watson.
I wonder why there was so much rain in the video. What was that all about? |

I hope folks enjoyed the video, but the thread seems to have failed as a numerical tease. I thought someone would ask how many hours I contributed to the video at that astronomical rate.
The answer is six seconds of Breanna footage from two high school games in 2010, one showing a shot over Temi Fagbenle. My Magic Bus Sports expenses exceed the fee, so there's no net taxable income.
Hmm . . . I spent two hours negotiating the Footage Licensing Agreement as my own lawyer, and my last hourly rate from ten years ago exceeds the negotiated fee. So, gee whillikers, I lost money AGAIN covering this sport. |

Sorry, most people's assumption senses kicked in after you said $300,000 an hour, thinking that said it all. |
