This vote went about how I expected with DePaul and Marquette being co-favorites as they tied last season for the regular season title and both return pretty much all their key players. And with Blockton winning preseason BE POY last year and then winning the award I figured she'd likely get the preseason nod again.

The biggest surprise to me was seeing Heideman, Davenport and Wilborn also named to the pre-season BE first team also. I wasn't expecting MU to have so many players on that team. Don't they only name 5 players for the BE first team at the end of the season? If so, it seems a bit odd to have 11 on the preseason team.
