Canada wins 7-0, becomes 16th country in. United States wins 6-0 to clinch 17th spot. Winner of Jamaica-Panama on the 17th will be country #18 with the loser playing Argentina for a WC spot.

the Argentina-Jamaica/Panama play-off is scheduled for Nov. 5 & 13. UEFA Final playoff between Netherlands & Switzerland scheduled for Nov. 9 & 13. The CAF & OFC tournaments both end on Dec. 1.

Jamaica beats Panama 1-1 (4-2 PK) to earn their first ever trip to the World Cup!!

Panama now plays off with Argentina for a spot in the World Cup.

Correction: the score was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation, both teams scored in extra time to make it 2-2. Jamaica just has better PK skills. Solid game for women's football. Congrats to Jamaica!! Pulling for Panama to beat Argentina.

South Africa beat Mali in the other semifinal, 2-0, and qualifies for their first ever Women's World Cup. The third place match between Cameroon and Mali will be played on Friday with the winner qualifying as well.

The OFC semifinals took place this morning.

Fiji 5 - Papua New Guinea 1
New Zealand 8 - New Caledonia 0

The OFC Final takes place Saturday, Dec. 1 between New Zealand & Fiji. Winner qualifies for the World Cup (& 2020 Olympics).

Cameroon won the third place match today, 4-2, over Mali and becomes the 23rd nation to qualify. The last qualifier will be decided tonight in the OFC Final.
