| News on the BU board is that she has asked for her release. No idea why. She looked to be the starter next year and seemed like Kim’s kind of guard

Originally was hearing "asked for release" but now it appears she was dismissed from Baylor for violation of team rules.

| She was a UCLA verbal, reneged and signed with Baylor. Fine player but Coach Close dodged a bullet.

conclusion jumping. who knows the real story? It could have been a minor infraction but when she was given some penalty she just said "screw this I'm through". I don't know.

| Purportedly, a bunch of sources have said it was something Kim HAD to do because of how egregious the offense was.

The conclusions are based on the facts. She verballed to UCLA, reneged, went to Baylor. She had an impressive freshman season but was also suspended for a game in that season. Now she has been dismissed from Baylor. If she indeed said "screw this, I'm through", or if she was dismissed with cause, either suggests a player who has a lot of growing up to do.

So a bit of follow up.
Morris is still enrolled in Baylor. At least according to some on the boards, she could potentially earn a 2nd chance starting next year. I think there are some things she has to do but I don't want to be specific with 2nd hand information on that.
She did tweet something about Baylor that was very positive and actually made the comment "we are loaded".
Hope she gets things worked out.

The none public way this was handled by both sides, point to the door not being totally locked. Morris's tweets also seem to indicate she wants to return. Other wise I am sure she would not still be going to Baylor.

So, apparently Morris has now put her name into the Transfer Portal (why does this sound like Harry Potter to me?). She does not seem to have enrolled in Baylor for the spring.
That seems to be pretty clear; everything else I'm hearing is less-than-confirmed. I'd say there's at least a mutual parting of the ways.
