You do not know FIBA very well, the only PRO USA fans we have
are the AMERICANS that TRAVEL to the games. When we play at
home we usually have pro-USA fans.

You have to understand that in the Kingdom of Basketball, FIBA
Basketball is not very important to American Basketball fans. The
ONLY International Basketball we respect is the Olympics, PERIOD.

MAYBE its an idea if you just talk for yourself and not for other basketball fans. The we this and we that is starting to get tiresome

If the Olympics are the only tournament that Americans care about, why are you being so vocal and condescending towards others about this tournament? If this tournament didn't matter as you state, why would you find a forum and spew nonsense?

There is a line between patriotism/"hardcore" NT fandom and nationalism/jingoism. It's unfortunate when someone lacks the awareness to recognize that their behavior places them on a different side of that line than they think they're on. Or, even worse, they're fully aware of which side of the line they're on, and they embrace it enthusiastically and unapologetically.

Euro & South American Soccer fans do exactly as you describe
here: Or, even worse, they're fully aware of which side of the
line they're on, and they embrace it enthusiastically and
unapologetically.

How many FIBA world champs have you been to?

Opals got some loud jeers from the fans here when they entered the arena so I maintain that USA have got plenty of neutrals in their corner tonight.

No, I have 19 years worth of readership at the primer
soccer website in North America. Although I am not a
soccer fan outside of Team USA. I am well versed with
American soccer.

Well, if you haven't seen it here, why are you trying to bring that nonsense here?

Well, turns out that I was right. I guess you "know FIBA" even worse than I do.
Taurasi far and away the most popular jersey choice for the Spaniards supporting the USA, though Griner, Bird & Moore got some love too.
