All Mystics playoff games this year are at Charles Smith Center, according to the Mystics release: http://mystics.wnba.com/news/mystics-playoff-games-to-be-played-at-smith-center/

It's listed as the venue in the schedule on their website, too.

So this is a perm situation and not a conflict resolution Confused

Thanks. Yesterday it said differently. Read somewhere Capital One closed for renovations for their hockey champs. As usual Mystics get no love from Monumental group. Only way can do it now is cab from metro to GMU.

The GW Smith Center will be a temporary location through the playoffs this season for the Mystics because Cap One Arena is going through extensive remodeling until the end of September, the other option would've been the arena on the Georgetown University campus which seats smaller than the GW Smith Center.

The Foggy Bottom-George Washington University Metro Station (Blue, Orange and Silver Line) at 2301 I St NW Wash, DC from there less than a 10 minute walk (Walk approx. 2 blocks South on 23rd St NW, Turn left on G St NW Walk approx. 1 block East on G St NW, Turn right on 22nd St NW, Walk approx. 1 block South on 22nd St NW.) should put one at the Charles E Smith Center

Yeah, they definitely corrected the schedule page pretty recently. I had a tab up with the schedule that said it was at Capital One, hit refresh a few minutes ago and it came back with Charles Smith instead.

It's a shame how many of these games are getting shunted around. It doesn't look great on TV when there are multiple sets of floor markings and a load of college logos on the floor.

It does suck to have college logos...but then you have to look at the team and place blame there. Look what Phoenix did. Yeah, they played at Arizona State, but they brought their floor from Talking Stick..so no ASU logo at center court and Phoenix Mercury script on the end lines. Still crappy not to play in your home arena in the playoffs, but at least don't have college logos on the floor.

Um, there was a gigantic pitchfork at center-court for that game at ASU (plus the dual three-point lines and Pac-12 logos).

Just went back and looked at video---so there was. I stand corrected. So fails on both teams.
