So I guess 7,400 is a lower bowl sellout in DC?

Angler lost this game with his substitutions. LA had more than a double digit lead and he puts in Carson, Sims and Lavender at the same time. Carson has been playing some really bad defense for weeks now. Lavender and Sims lose their assignments on both transitions and switches. The Mystics closed the gap through a lot of wide open lanes and totally uncontested shots due to people being wide open with multiple Sparks either guarding one player or no one at all. In respect to Carson, I am not sure if the goggles interfere with her peripheral vision or she is just playing lazy. She helped on a double at one point and didn't even bother to close out on her own assignment when the ball was passed, instead just wandered out to an empty space while her assignment hit the open shot.Angler should recognize these patterns, but he seemed clueless.
Angler has done an absolutely horrible job with his substitutions and rotations this season. Perhaps he is not capable of handling and integrating too many options. He has always had a reputation for using a small rotation, and that could be the reason why.

Yes that is true, however, his rotations this season imply that he is more of an angler who just casts them out there and hopes for the best. With the roster he had to work with, they should have done much better.

Wow, what a shot form Cloud 9. The Mystics still have a chance for the 2nd best record in the league .

It was. (This was discussed earlier in the thread.) It won't be their home floor any more, though a camp day game may get played there every now and then. It was the end of a 21-season era. Glad the Mystics went out with a bang.

It was Alger on my autocorrect until my autocorrect learned that an Agler actually exists in the universe.

Very good game with two good teams -- lucky shot wins it at the end, but who knows how OT would have played out?
How long is Atkins going to be out?
LA has four players, but unfortunately you need five. Alana Beard is a shadow of the player she once was and the bench misfired on all cylinders. The Sparks can win one game, but it's for me to see them winning three out of five if they get that far.
If Washington has Atkins back at full strength, that's a very solid starting group. Mike Thibault was right to invest time (and some losses) in Cloud at PG.

So what, you look at what you are typing, especially when you use the person's name several times. It wasn't a one off. (Not to mention Preview mode.)

I think it is considered acceptable to make fun of the names of the people one doesn't like or if upset with on this forum. The converse is certainly true - "Penny ------ing Taylor" for example.

hmmm, well if that didn't deserve an ejection, not sure what does. |
Eject for serious stuff...not for pillow fights.
And, they walked into each other, Hawkins did the boob smush yeah, but Candace starting flailing...over-reation, just keep it moving.

I disagree. I think the league should look at this and Parker should not be playing tomorrow. She was throwing punches, albeit really poor ones, but punches none the less. No excuse for that at all and the league should send a message that it is not tolerated. And, I think, if the officials last night had time to really look at this, they should have ejected Parker.
I did not think Parker started the incident, however. The contact she had with EDD was minimal and EDD's reaction and fall was all drama. And Hawkins was coming in to aid her teammate which is understandable. Parker was just walking away and Hawkins came up to her but was looking at EDD. Once they got together and started to confront each other is when Parker started throwing punches. It is not clear what was being said but most likely the conversation was as much as an instigator as the initial physical contact. But you can clearly see the punches from Parker on Hawkins back side and then more punches on the front to the midsection.

Just saw the incident and was glad they didnt eject Parker and Hawkins. Double T and keep it moving. Parker was upset about a no call on a previous play. So when Hawkins got in her way to help EDD up from the ground she was annoyed and was like move get out of my way. Hawkins didnt move and things went worse for nothing really.
The bench from the mystics was already on the court because the half ended when things escalated between Hawkins and Parker. So i dont think they can suspend players for that.
