Phoenix needs a PF......Meesseman for 1st rd pk and Gulich.
Chicago needs a PF....Meeseeman is friends with Dolson......Meesseman/Thomas for Copper/Coates.
Minnesota needs a PF.....Meesseeman for 1st rd pick and A.Jones.
OR
Meesseman can stay in Washington and be the 6th Woman off the bench.
G-Toliver
G-Cloud
C-Sanders
F-EDD
F-Atkins
6-Meesseman
7-Powers
8-Hawkins
Washington could be scary good next season.
On second thought,I would keep Meesseman and bring her off the bench.

Emma is worth a 2019 1st rd lottery pick plus a player but I doubt Mike Thibault wants to trade her.

Emma's last year on her contract will be 2019 at a max salary. Hard to see Mike Thibault bringing off the bench a Max Salary Player like Emma It's likely Emma will have to be the Mystics starting Center or be traded

Meesseman at center last year was a disaster. Shouldn't happen again. Meesseman to Phoenix seems best considering their need at PF. Emma for their first rounder + Gulich?

Yeah, because EDD demanded a trade to Washington and Washington only.
And how are any of these trades horrible?...Phoe,Minn and Chi all need a PF.

Well they're obviously the opposite of horrible for the teams you mentioned.

Why would any team give up a King's ransom for a 3rd option, who's entering the final year of her contract and just might sit out one or two more seasons before her career is over?.......As I said in my previous comment....the Mystics should keep Meesseman and bring her off the bench.

With Delle Donne's injury and illness history it would be a bit unwise to trade Emma even assuming they wanted to. Plus, her contract ending is not that important because she can be cored. Elana demanded a trade to DC so it seems unlikely she would leave.

Omg, can Phoenix have her plz...
That is if Tina doesn’t want to come play with us. |
Easy solution, Meesseman for Griner. I'm pretty sure Thibault would go for it.

DC was pretty good last year when they moved EDD to the 3 spot, with EM at the 4 and Thomas at the 5. Not seeing why EDD, EM and Sanders couldn't also play together. Doubt Thibault would even consider trading her, as the opportunity to do the above would give the Mystics a ton of flexibility with matchups. Small lineups, hybrid lineups and big lineups would all be a possibility for them.

That was the line up that lost them the most games.

There aren't that many big bigs in the league. Cambage is probably leaving. Fowles is getting older. So there's Griner and the two coming in. I think only one of those will have much immediate impact. So all in all I think the league will be moving more and more to two mobile bigs - look at what Seattle is using and how successful they've been without a true big.

Yeah actually you're right. 2-4 with that lineup late in the season along with the win over NY in the playoffs before losing to Minnesota. So I can't use prior success as an example. Might have been necessitated more by injuries than anything.
I would still, however, think that a front line of EDD-EM-Sanders with possibly a healthier Thomas would still be more versatile than starting Currie again next year. And Currie is still always there if you want to mix and match certain types of lineups.
Knowing that Thibault likes EM a lot and schemes for his talent...and also thinking that the lottery teams likely would value their lottery pick over EM (in some cases it might be debatable) I don't think a trade would be likely anyway.
