Mary Murphy is without a doubt the biggest homer in WBB. It’s irresponsible journalism and borders on making her a complete joke and completely unprofessional.

For her WNBA awards she voted Alana Beard DPOY. HUH? And her 6th POY is....Jordin Canada? What?

LA is totally gassed. One thing about Agler...he will run his starters into the ground minutes-wise while yelling at them to push tempo.

She played a couple of minutes. Wouldn't want to break up Riquna's 1/7 rhythm.

Parker wants it more than the Libs do. Sometimes it just comes down to that.

Chelsea Gray uses her body better than Any guard I’ve seen outside of Taurasi.

Riquna has played really good defense the last few games. She has been hustling more than any other Spark as well. What the Sparks had been lacking is not so much offense but hustle and defense. Sims often gets lost on switches and screens. I suspect it is defense that has put Williams on the floor and Sims on the bench.

Good grief! LA makes things difficult. Glad that they got the W! Good run for NY! They definitely played with a lot of heart! Tina really needs some kind of award for what she does for that team!

I'm wondering why the regression? Is she in the dog house or is she not fully healthy? What's the deal? This is definitely a different Sims than earlier in the season.

Hmm so I haven't moved to turned off the stream and it sounds like we may be getting some of the post game presser....Maybe

Another tight game with the team from Yonkers.

Tina says, "I love you, Candace!, but I am fixing to spoil your playoff seeding!!!"

We visit the Mystics in DC Friday night and close out the season in Uncasville on Sunday night. Will probably have to win both games to guarantee at least a #4 seeding.

What happens if Phoenix, La, and CT are all tied?

LA has the tie breaker over Phoenix
Phoenix has the tie breaker over CT
CT has the tie breaker over Phoenix

It’s definitely a possible situation. Phoenix plays Atlanta, who is missing Angel and then NY at home. Winnable games. They could easily end up 20 and 14.

And at least one of CT and LA can’t win more than 20, and neither have a cakewalk of an other game.

If Connecticut beats LA, they'll own the three way on head-to-head. They'd be 4-2 against the others. LA owns the break over Phoenix, so they'd be next and the Merc would be the #6 seed.

If LA beats Connecticut and they all end up tied: The next tiebreaker is record against .500 or better teams. Luckily, we already know which teams those will be. Atlanta, Connecticut, LA, Minnesota, Phoenix, Seattle, and Washington will be .500 or better, the rest won't.

Currently the Sparks are 8-9 against those teams while the Merc and Sun are both 7-10. Any three way scenario would mean the Sun and Sparks each going 1-1 (since they play each other) while the Merc go 2-0. LA and Connecticut both have two games left against .500 or better teams while Phoenix has one. LA would win the tiebreaker at 9-10, Phoenix owns the break over Connecticut so they would be next, and the Sun would be the #6 seed.

If the Mystics went 0-3 and made it a 4 way...

That would mean Washington losing to LA, so LA would have to beat Connecticut to make it a 4-way. The Sparks would again win the tiebreaker as they would be 5-4 against the other three. The Mystics would go next, then the Merc, then the Sun.

Basically, the Sun don't want to be involved in any ties that include the Mercury. They own the head-to-head against both LA and Washington, but when you include Phoenix everything goes sour for them.

She looks heavy and slower to me personally. But that's just via the eye test. She's the fastest player on a team that refuses to push tempo at its coach's behest.

The Sparks don't have the personnel to push tempo. Gray and Ogwumike are not fast. Parker only runs when she feels like it. Beard runs like a 36 year old who's had multiple knee surgeries, Lavender runs like an anvil.

As questionable as the Libs' outside shooting might be, I'd say they've missed more wide open outside shots this year than the last two years combined. Hartley hit open 3s last year. This year she bricks them. Sugar only hits open 3s when the game is no longer on the line. Piph leads the team in 3-point shooting. Zahui is second. Tina is third. Boyd is 4th. Even Nurse, a proven collegiate 3 point shooter and outstanding foul shooter, is bricking 3s with regularity. Not only is Sugar's 30.6 worse than last year, but if you take out the meaningless ones that she's made, she's well under 30.

Would a KLS have a domino effect on the rest of the lineup if she's the choice? She's obviously one of the purest shooters we've seen come out in recent years, but would that also have a positive effect on Nurse?

we have so much holes on this team but, its obvious what we need. consistent shooting. i like Nurse alot but when she's cold she's cold and when she's hot she can't miss. kinda reminds me of Sugar through the years of watching her inconsistency. lets hope Nurse doesn't have the same career as chucky Rodgers.

i'm starting to get warm on getting KLS next year. but need to see more of her next year and how she plays without Gabby.
