Since I'm a jerk, I'm amused Reeve didn't want anything to do with Howard, even though, by law, whatever team she is on makes the WNBA Finals every year, and whatever team trades her is forced to rebuild (which is why I'm convinced she decided she'd rather turn the Storm into a potential WNBA Dynasty and the Lynx into a team tanking for draft picks, instead of ever trying to win consecutive titles for the Lynx), and of the players she has instead, Brunson, Robinson, and Wright, two of them are out with injuries. Smile

And I thought I held a grudge for the Ajavon-Bentley trade. But don't worry - you can get her back some day. All it takes will be more bad trades, some bad luck, a few trips to the lottery, coach and GM firings, a fight with a team mate and you may finally get your girl back. Patience!

In the meantime - could we interest you Lynx fans in Damaris Dantas this off season? How about a nice sign trade?

I'm jealous because the Dream have one the greatest head coaches of all time in Nicki Collen, while the Lynx are stuck with Reeve, who thinks that it's more important to win titles for Candace Parker and Breanna Stewart than for her own team. Maybe she (and the rest of Minnesota, besides me) doesn't want to hurt other teams' feelings by winning to much, so that's why Reeve let the Sparks win the 2016 title by not having the Lynx try to win themselves, and her #1 priority this offseason was to make sure Seattle wins the title this year, by letting them have one of the best players in the WNBA for nothing, which would be equivalent to the Sparks trading Nneka Ogwumike for a 3rd round pick.

3 strikes and you are out Lynx. I was going to be a Lynx fan for the day, but what's the point?

Kind of want the lynx to win to add drama to the #1 seed race but the Fan in me says god does not forgive that sin , so Storm on it is!

Not quite as impressive as the Dream win over the team that used to be the Lynx.

Sheesh! How many games have the Lynx had this year when a starter went scoreless? I feel like it's more than their last five seasons combined.

Dang, T got up and shoved Jordin off the ball 🏀 yo T you weren’t gonna win anyway. Most like we’ll end up 26-8 nice that they can come home, get these two last games outta the way, get some rest and practice in and be fresh and ready for the playoff.

Sure it was, we’ve been on the road for the past month. We have the best road record. That is pretty impressive. Most people don’t give us credit, but that is ok, you aren’t invited to the championship parade 😂

Great defensjve job from Clark on Maya. She worked her butt off all game long and still was effective on the offensive end showing Maya some postmoves

There is nothing better than a northwestern hurricane to cleanse away the cat poo.

Maya gets away with a lot of fouls, she smacked Sue right in the jaw. She pushed Alysha around but no calls against her for either. Anyway I think we’ll win our last two at home, but really all we need is one win sealing the #1 seed.

You're right - I am probably being too overconfident. After all, the Storm did beat us once this season.

Home court does have it’s advantage and we are one win away from clinching it through the whole playoffs.
