This is our second start time this week in the 8:00am (PT) hour, and, if I'm remembering correctly, our fourth camp day this summer (at home vs LA, at CHI, at NY, and at WA).

Seattle should be a little more acclimated to this one, since they’re still on that long east coast road trip. Still could be factor in this battle of the top teams.

The Storm after playing the Fever in Indiana are probably already in Wash, DC while the Mystics are still in the air from Phoenix.

Mystics flying back from the west - they better hope karma isn't in an ugly mood.

My policy is to vote for the home team with two exceptions. I always vote for the Dream and I always vote against the Sparks.

I know it's shocking that 5 people think Delle Donne could lose in a home game, but in fairness Stewie and the Storm are playing pretty well lately, and Seattle fans are some pretty big homers!

Yeah, that's crazy! The Mystics have only lost 5 games at home!

The Storm's road record is better than anyone's home record. Smile

The Storm's defense looks very good, but they are going to have to stop EDD and Toliver. They are starting off with some very hot shooting.

But seriously, I expect a tough game. Mystics are good, and if the Storm are going to run out of gas, today's the day.

We looked sleepy on defense in previous games. Looks like it we will not get away with it against the Mystics today

Seems pretty fair to have a Pacific team play two camp day games at 8 am and 8:30 am its time in the same week. DC had a rough trip back to DC from Phoenix as well, so it's not so easy for them either. But I think this is a harder trip on the team from the Pacific time zone. How much strain do we expect is proper to put on players' bodies just because the WNBA is considered a second-class league from an economic perspective? You can't draw blood from a stone.

The WNBA wants it all. You want camp day games? Ok. You want no games on Mondays? Ok. You want mainly weekend games in a clustered schedule? Ok. You want teams to regularly travel 3 time zones in less than 48 hours? Ok. But sooner or later that's going to come with a price. Teams shouldn't be traveling 3 time zones and playing camp day games, especially west to east, which has proven in the NFL statistically to be an unfair disadvantage for years. DC's trip isn't favorable either. There's got to be a way to schedule these so that at least you're not asking for the blatantly ridiculous. I foresee this CBA as being particularly contentious. Ultimately I'm sure players will give in to an extent. You have star players in some cases playing for 45-60k. They play more for pride than money and that won't change. But by the same token the price they're paying physically in exchange for pride may not be worth it.

EDD is pretty unstoppable. Like a bigger Stewie.

A hot-shooting team can make any defense look bad. We do it a lot.

We are not getting the fifty fifty balls. The loose ones. Thats all about effort.

Apart from the early body time start of camp day games for teams that have traveled from the West, I’ve always thought these games were unfair to season ticket holders, as many simply can’t leave work in the middle of the morning to go to a BBall game. It was bad enough when there was only one camp day home game in a season, but now there are two. I think the tix for those games should be optional opt-in for STHs.

Looks like the box score is messed up for some reason. Probably too early.

Any chance they reviewed it for shot clock violation?

Weird. It is messed up. 57-40 on TV. Looks like they're fixing it.

I’d rather get a loss now then late. I suppose it was too much to as for a perfect road trip.
