Fever started 1-16 pre-Pondexter, and are 4-7 with Pondexter.

Like a train wreck - you just can't look away. Smile

Well it's official: NY is last in the Power Rankings.

I remember when the Lynx being able to beat the Liberty by 3 points was considered a signature victory that proved that the Lynx are ready to go on a tear after the All-Star break and go on a deep playoff run. Smile

Liberty honestly are the worst team in the league. Just dreadful to watch.

It's a horror show... No baskets in the 4th quarter and only 2 free throws made - 2 points! Embarassed Hard to believe... Rolling Eyes

and she's living proof that if you fling it up enough times, it's bound to go in some of the time. And both Mitchells are following her lead.

Good point: Cappie 3-15, K Mitchell 1-9, T. Mitchell 1-6. That's 5-30 and the Fever still won the game. Not many people would have such a thing possible.

Kudos to all, including myself, who watched this horror show (though I gave up early in the third quarter, I have to confess). We are truly devoted ...

Or we are so socially inept that we don't know anyone who will hang with us on a Saturday afternoon.

Cappie manages to miss 12 shots but not hand out an assist. The Mitchell sisters were awful, of course, but Vivians didn't miss a shot. She did get two attempts, however, while watching Cappie jack up brick after brick.

For NY, let me count the ways ... I was ready to blast Coleman for one assist and one rebound in her 22 minutes, but she was 2-4. Kia Nurse, though, didn't have an assist or a rebound and was 3-11.

And all of this glory was achieved in a gym (definitely not an arena) that could have served as the court in "Hoosiers."

Ugliness abounds ...

CT has outscored the Libs with 3 minutes left in the first half.

I find hanging with people is overrated.
