The new Prez doesn’t do that.

Bad news for Liz. Wink

We need to win Against Chicago...and not having Mitch and DT is gonna hurt. Hopefully some players step up.

Mercury will only have 9 players available for Wednesday's game unless Musina is ready to play by then.

I wonder why Musina shows loyalty to PHX? They kind of mucked up her summer or rookie season. If PHX wins the championship I suppose all will be forgiven.

Because she played with DT and BG.

I don’t even know what to make of this. Is she just gonna split Robinson 15 minutes? Is she so much better than Little that Sandy will definitely play her? Just having an extra post?

What is this supposed to do.

If she had been here from the beginning of the season id be excited to have her play in front of little . But as others have said she's got a lot to learn in a little amount of time . Luckily all star break is coming up so she might have time to learn a little bit .

She won’t even play Robinson, a player who is clearly playing better than Little, over Little.

I just don’t even get it.

That tweet was all speculation. Maybe it still happens, but there’s nothing official about Musina signing with PHX, as toad stated.

Great pickup if she's healthy.

Didn’t Peters say she wasn’t playing this season? Weird.

Can she be fined proactively?

I liked her a lot in college. Maybe this will be the right fit for her.

Musina would be nice, but now that we have an immediate need in the front court Dev is the better fit.

Always been a fan of Dev Peters. This could be a great opportunity and fit for her - and Phoenix Smile

I hope Musina - or at least her agent - is aware that she has no ties to Phoenix any more unless she wants there to be. Some players have failed to realise that in the past. If I were, say, Indiana, cutting someone and giving Musina a look (while gaining her future rights if she sticks until the end of the season) might be worthwhile.

Wonder if the Sparks would grab Musina? They have that extra roster spot available ever since Pondexter left.

It may not be that Musina is holding out for Phoenix. More likely that WNBA GMs and coaches don't view her as highly as people do on this board. In the end, Musina's claim to fame is that she had one big game against a bunch of American teenagers. That's a long way from the WNBA. Even if they like her potential, it shows you how much the WNBA is a "now" league. Coaches get replaced all the time, and with many franchises you're not 100% certain your team will even be here next year. Is Raisa more than a year away from being a significant contributor? If so, that may be too long to wait. Throw in salary cap limitations, and it's not hard to see why Musina is still kicking around.

This was a point I repeatedly brought up back when it was more relevant, back when Musina was hanging out in LA and before the Sparks decided to add obvious non-factor Samuelson instead.

Anyway, it seems like Parker is having a potential career year while the rest of the players and management are crumbling around her. I like it. Kinda makes having Reeve as a GM more palatable.

I see now that Peters was signed to a 7-day contract, not the strongest vote of confidence this late into the season.

I hope she’s given an opportunity.
