No word who starts, but I'd have:

Gray-Loyd-Moore-Parker-Cambage
Toliver-Taurasi-Delle-Donne-Stewart-Griner

So..

Gray > Toliver
Loyd < Taurasi
Moore < Delle Donne (although close)
Parker < Stewart (again, close)
Cambage ? Griner

I would say advantage team Delle Donne...but..Gray could certainly run a clinic against Toliver and Bird.

Hmm I'd go with Gray-Diggins-Moore-Parker-Cambage vs Bird-Taurasi-Delledonne-Stewart-Fowles

Nah, since it's an exhibition, in Minnesota, I'd start :

Bird-DT- 'Mone- EDD - Sweet Syl
SDS - Gray - Moore - CP - Cambage

After that play around with fun line ups.

Lisa is picking against her girl, Candace? What the heck is up with that? Laughing I suppose Chelsea's sometimes up & down play had something to do with that, but I am confident Chelsea can hang with Sue and facilitate to her bigs. I wanna see Hollywood Liz banging with Big Bad Syl and Brittney. Tina is usually playing without much talented support, but no one better sleep on her in an all-star contest with a stacked roster to play with.

This should be an easy win for Delle Donne's team. It's like Candace actively avoided picking anyone on Team USA lol.

TeamCP3 appears to have three US 2016 Olympians (Charles, McCoughtry, Moore)

Including herself, Delle Donne has seven 2016 Team USA members.

Catchings retired.

That leaves only Whalen as the 2016 Team USA member who was slighted from the All Star game. Crying or Very sad

Reeve said on a radio appearance a few minutes ago Rebekkah Brunson is going to be named as a replacement player (I assume for Nneka?).

If that's true, it's a ridiculous choice.

Maybe she was next in line for frontcourt players due to all of the ballot-box stuffing done by Lynx fans (not me). Though to be fair, Brunson had been playing well, but just caught Can't Shoot Syndrome since coming back from her injury. Let's just hope a guard doesn't drop out at the last second so Whalen makes it in ahead of Hayes. Very Happy

There are already three local players in the game. It's not like the home team is missing out.

How are replacement players chosen? Lisa Borders' whims, or the player with the next highest number of combined votes from the new voting format?

I am sure some better qualified player would have been willing to go. I bet they wouldn't even have had to dip down to Crystal Langhorne's four points a game to find a candidate.

A full week off versus playing a meaningless game ? Im pretty sure most players not originally picked are passing on that for sure. Everyone's headed home to visit family they rarely can see these days in the states.

And yet almost every year they have replacements without resorting to single-digit scorers well past their prime.

Come on now Howard is a better choice
